- First off, this phone is not for everyone. You might enjoy it just like you will hate it. It\'s new. It\'s different. If you\'re ready to take the leap into the next generation of phones and foldables in general this is the best in the market...Pros- AMOLED Screen: Images look real good on this screen- 120hz display: A smoother experience throughout. Not all games support this though.- Big Screen: When folded the screen is 6\'2 inches but when unfolded it\'s 7\'6 inches. So good for movies and shows.- Water resistant: This time around the fold is water resistant so you can get it wet and submerge it in water and it won\'t get damaged.- Hinge: One of my favorite parts of this phone is the hinge, you can set it in multiple positions depending on how you want to use or watch your phone.- Under-display camer: When unfolded, you get a small 4 megapixel inner camera but since it\'s under a screen it\'s barely noticeable unless you\'re look at it directly. Giving more screen estate.- Speakers: I\'m no audiophile but these have to be the loudest speakers I\'ve ever heard, on a foldables anyways. The sound pops and it\'s just really good, never had to use a speaker because the sound was just high enough.- Gaming: Had little to no issues with gaming. Had little to no lag on most demanding games the big display is amazing for this. Words can\'t describe how awesome it feels to game on a big screen like this. There might be optimization issues due to it\'s foldable nature but that\'s more of a developer issue than a Z Fold 3 issue.- Samsung Labs: These are a lot of experimental settings that allow you to customize how you use your fold even further. You can make apps bigger or small on the folded display. Enable Galaxy Note-like task bars and a few other goodies.Cons- Subpar camera: The cameras aren\'t bad but they aren\'t good either, for today\'s standard anyways. For the same price, you can get a phone that does more and has better cameras than this, like the Galaxy S21 Ultra.- 4 Megapixel Under-display camera: You\'ll never be using this camera for the most part but if you ever want to take a selfie or have video calls with this camera it will not look good.- Battery: While it really not a huge deal comparing it to the Z fold 2 battery, it does weigh it down a bit more. Again, for the same price or less you can get a phone with a larger battery than this one. For me, it\'s just enough to handle my daily routine but for more heavy users it may not not enough.- No S Pen: If you want to take advantages of the S Pen just like the Note series, I\'m sorry to tell you that you\'ll need to buy it separately as well as carry it separately. There is a Samsung Case made that brings the S Pen but the case is just garbage and its $80.- Narrow main display: While I have no particular issue with the 6\'1in main display, I know not many will like how narrow it is compared to how phones are usually. Some apps may look stretched and weird, may take time to get used to. Also the holepunch camera may be distracting. Not a real complaint from me but some may not like it.- Crease on folded display: The more time I spent with it the less I noticed it. It does take time to get used to, and you barely even touch it so for me its not a complaint but new users will probably have a hard time unnoticing it until they get used to it. Something to keep in mind.- Expensive: For that price tag, you could buy a S21 Ultra which not only has more features and it\'s more durable.- No dust resistance: It is water resistant but not dust resistant. While it does a good job in keeping dust from messing with the hinge or any other phone components, I still wouldn\'t take it anywhere with sand and small particles.Overall, this phone is amazing and while the tech is going in the right direction, there\'s still a lot to left to improve, such as resistance to more things like dust, better cameras, better battery, built in S Pen support, etc.Will I recommend this phone? Yes and No. If you want to be in the \"Future\" and experience something unique and different. Yes I recommend it.If you\'re just planning to use this like any other phones with no real interest for its unique features. No I don\'t recommend it.
- Pros:+ Super Awesome phone. A game changer in my productivity. Works like a tablet and phone. My friends seeing me use it think I am a genius and can\'t stop talking about it. Photos are awesome. Great camera, but mind-blowing screen size when taking photos when unfolded.+ I no longer have to debate if I should carry my tablet. My phone is my tablet.Cons:I did not know that the large screen has a Samsung screen protector that must stay on per the Samsung website. OEM Screen protector issues. Please be ready for this. Known issue and Samsung has a whole article on this on their website. $20 to replace this every so often (sorry no stats on how often).
- About 1 year in ownership of this phone, both factory screen protectors are deteriorating. (has case protector installed-VRS Design Terra Guard S for Galaxy Z Fold 3, Semi-Auto Hinge Protective Case with Pen Cover Compatible with Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G (2021) ),The out side is pealing from the upper right corner and there is a \"pin hole\" in the protector about .5 inches from the bottom of the screen.The damage of the second screen starts in the middle of the fold. Bubbles on both sides of the screen, about 1 inch in the fold the protector has a split in the fold, approximately .25 inches long.Asto the actual phone. Great, no complaints.

- This has an amazing screen that is actually fun to look at. I\'m getting older, and I like larger screens now, and you can\'t get much bigger than this for a phone. Folded, it\'s double thick (well, duh) and it\'s skinnier than a regular phone - the dimensions are a little weird for a regular phone.I know that the Fold 3 doesn\'t get great reviews for the camera, but it\'s just fine for regular people. It\'s certainly better than my first digital camera (1.6 megapixels!) so I\'m good with it. That\'s one of the nice things about being old - you don\'t take certain things for granted.This takes a bit of getting used to when you\'re texting or holding it open and playing with it. It is pretty awkward at first, but after a few months, I\'m used to it.The phone part works just fine. I\'m not a fan of talking on the phone, but sound is fine and I haven\'t had any complaints from others with the sound on their end. I personally prefer to use my phone for playing games and streaming videos, and the screen is great for that.Not all apps know how to deal with the double screen. Some of them know that if you fold the phone halfway that they should shift the screen up to the top. Netflix seems to have a problem, but it\'s not bad. Youtube knows how to handle it.There wasn\'t a real manual included, however there is a great one online that I downloaded from the Samsung site. I\'m old - I like actual manuals.The fingerprint sensor seems like it\'s in a weird spot (on the side) but it has worked well so far. I\'m careful opening the screen because I don\'t know how well it will hold up, but it\'s fine so far.I just really love this thing. Which is a bummer because it\'s expensive and I don\'t know if I can go back to a regular phone now. Hopefully it will last a couple of years.
