- I was a bit skeptical at first, but it actually works! We live in a cellular dead zone and are lucky to get 1 bar of service, so we have to rely on our wifi. After a recent internet outage, we were unable to use our phones/hot spots due to the wifi being down. After a little research, I decided on this particular booster based on price point and reviews. Our house is two story, and about 4 miles from the nearest Verizon tower. I mounted the antenna near the top roof line (always practice ladder safety and avoid power lines!!!) and pointed it in the direction of the cell tower, a quick internet search will tell you where the closet tower is. Next, I ran the cable from the antenna to the base (about 40 ft.) which is located in my home behind the television. When I turned it on, my phone immediately jumped to all bars of service. I would definitely recommend!
- This does work i only had a faint 1 bar now i have 3 and 4 bars. I live in a manufactured home it has metal roofing and i live in the country, if you are having trouble with cell signals this will do it. Couldn\'t give any thing on tech support as i did not have to use them.
- Did not work for me but I believe it would work if towers were closer.
- We live in an area where cell service is a real issue so I ordered this in the hopes that our service would improve greatly. It has improved but not quite greatly. I can say that it works because we are able to hear voices better and they are able to hear us clearer as well. We do live in an area that we have block walls and security shutters so I know that also affects how well we receive service. I took a couple stars off as it is a little pricey for how well it works. All in all if you are having cell phone service and need a little boost, this will do the job.
- Simple install with instant result. I recommend this for anyone who has dropped calls and issues with maintaining a stable signal anywhere inside their house.
- Edit…. The seller contacted me and wanted to help to find out what it was doing. So after a few messages the seller had figured out the problem ! The seller sent me what I needed to make this work perfectly. This seller went above and beyond to make this right. As we all know not many sellers these days are like that. So I’ve gotta say if your in the market for one of these I’d highly recommend buying from this seller!!! Thanks again for being the best!!!! I tried mounting this in several different places and all were over 25 feet high!! I tried everything I could think of and bare in mind I’m very tech savvy!! I just don’t want someone to think.. if I buy this I’ll finally have service. It don’t work or it didn’t work for me. I do live around mountains so that’s why I made sure to try it at several different heights. If you buy this all I can say is good luck and your gonna need it!!
- My family and I recently visited my parents in the mountains of northern California. My parents have little to no cell phone reception at their house. I ordered this and installed it within a few minutes. The cell reception went from 0-1 bar to almost full service! I would highly recommend this product
