- The instructions need clarification for the professional installer. The car stereo place installs CB\'s. The instructions should state you need see the lights of unit to confirm if working. The installer postion the power unit inside the dash which gives you no opportunity confirm the unit condition or operation. The instructions call out this as option. I had old cell phone booster in car back 80s and installed under the seat for this condition. I had go back and have installer where I see unit red and green light. If unit fails make sure installed it where access is easy. The quality looks fantastic with construction of the power unit.I have noticed the phone has better reception driving on Interstate talking to my clients. The external antenna is great quality but requires drilling hole through the roof of SUV / Tahoe. I park in parking garage and clearance is not an issue with 2 wheel drive with 6\'-8\" clearance.I pick brand because it has better performance with internet web calls / conference calls. Is this worth the money and time install the unit. Yes, manufacturer should re write the specifications how to be installed so \"consumer\" can watch the unit post install and replace if unit fails.
- We operate a fleet of local delivery vehicles in areas with sporadic and unreliable cell reception. The unit , after 8 weeks of use, has yet to exhibit any improvement to our communication abilities. In summary, it doesn\'t appear to do much of anything.I\'m glad we only bought one.
- Boosted my signal immensely, worth the money.
