MOZA Mini P MAX Gimbal Stabilizer 3-Axis Mobile Handheld Stabilizer for Smartphone Mirrorless Camera Action Cameras Up to 2.2Lb Updated Version 3-Axis Lock Design Cross-Platform Gimbal 20h Runtime
- I have used a number of larger gimbals. This smaller one works very for my intended use - iphone 13 pro, GoPro 11 and Sony Rx100M7 -. In addition, it has no problem handling my OM5 with the Oly 12-100mm f/4. Overall, a very good combination of size, weight, features and price. It can be synchronized with the Moza Slypod pro.
- This was my first gimbal. I wanted something that\'s reasonably priced for a beginner and provide fairly good stabilizing. And this product is it. Very satisfied with it. The only complaint I have is that it\'s a little annoying to have it balanced. Overall, I\'m happy with the product.
- Very good combination of weight, size and price.
- The media could not be loaded. I have reviewed a lot of products before deciding to grab this version (Moza Mini P Max) and was never disappointed. The stability and battery life, really helped a lot in producing quality video edits for my weekend trips to share with my family and friends! The set up and fine tuning is easy once you install the Moza Master app (recommended). For balancing during first set up, I will recommend to watch their video in youtube as you can follow the step by step per axis.Overall, very good quality at its price which is the reason for 5 stars!
- I hated this gimbal for the first week I owned it. Originally purchased to use with my Iphone 12 Max Pro, and my Sony a6000. Never owned a gimbal before, and really had some trouble getting the balancing correct. Once I did, I was still getting tons of shuddering/vibrating from the device when it was in certain positions.Came across a random comment in a youtube video suggesting I lower the motor speeds via the Moza Master app. I did this, dropping my settings from 26:75:86 to 16:60:65. This dramatically helped with the vibrations, and the gimbal now seems to function as advertised. I have yet to test out using the app to control the gimbal, but I am much more hopeful my purchase was a good one.TLDR: spend some time getting the balance with your device correctly, and then if you are still having trouble, consider updating the firmware and fine tuning your motor speed settings.
- The media could not be loaded. I buy so many things on Amazon, however this gimbal is one my favorite items within the last six months. I have used many other gimbals from other brands, this one is for the best.I love the features that the app provides, and one feature that no one talks about is that I can plug in a small microphone on my iPhone and this gimbal holds it with no problem, I can also use the wide angle feature on my iPhone 11 and the gimbal back doesn’t show like other gimbals on the market, this is truly futuristic and solve so many problems for me. It’s very smooth. I absolutely love it and I love the zoom in and zoom out features on the app.I also love that the packaging they created hosts the gimbal itself so we don’t have to buy an extra bag for it also we don’t feel bad about wasting all that cardboard because it doubles as a gimbal bag and the shipping box, pretty smart and green
- I’ve tried a ton of gimbals for my mobile filming rig. The gimbal could handle my 450 gram iPhone 12 Pro Max, SmallRig cage #3077, Moment lens, and two filters. I could mount the setup upright or upside down. If you mount it upright, you’ll need some counter weights. This has beat the Zhiyun Crane M2 in my opinion. I couldn’t balance my rig in the Zhiyun.Edit: I have been using this gimbal for about a month now on the road. I took it across country to the Western United States. I hiked with it and filmed as much as I could. It was very painful trying to get it balanced in a timely fashion. There was no such thing as a quick balance and go. There were times I just had to leave it behind for time sake.I have however become accustomed to this gimbal. It takes time to setup and balance. If you use this for a mobile phone rig, be warned. The L-bracket won’t work well with additional lenses and filters. I had to design a special L-bracket that works with my rig.Pro:- Can handle heavy payloads without a sweat.- it’s has very smooth and natural joystick controls.Cons:- The record button won’t work with the native iPhone camera app or apps like Filmic Pro & Cinema P3 Pro. I find this extremely annoying! This was almost a deal breaker for me. C’mon MOZA, figure it out!- The MOZA app is pretty bad. It lags behind while you move the gimbal with the joystick. I’ve tried it with the AirCross 2, Mini-Mi and now the Mini-P.- Very difficult to get balanced with my current setup.
- I\'ve owned the Mini P for nearly 4 months now and I could not be more happy with it. There is a bit of a learning curb for getting it balanced, but once you get the hang of it, it\'s pretty simple. I purchased my Mini P for use with my Sony ZV-1 vlogging camera. The camera on it\'s own has very poor stabilization and videos with any sort of camera movement were extremely choppy. With the Mini P, the videos are now just as stable as my Gopro Maxx, which is even more than I expected. I would highly recommend this product, and no, I did not receive this product for free.
