- Guys, wow!! This speaker (yes, just one, let alone maybe a pair or more..) will absolutely cause a lot of neighborhood fights. This speaker absolutely abuses your body, and no I don\'t mean moving it, or seting it up, I mean the copious amounts of high end quality sound crashing into your body, will literally moves your clothes on your body, thumps your chest, your scalp will even feel like it\'s going to crawl off your head. My pathetic words doesn\'t even come close to the measure of quality in sound and build materials. Have you ever been into a luxurious 1500 capacity MGM movie theater? Yah, guys this speaker is very much comparable to that very exciting experience.JBL absolutely knocks it out with this one, This device is expensive, but worth every dime of your hard earned money. This is truly a must have. One is awesome, and certainly two would cause the heavens to collapse. Get this one guys, you will not regret it.
- I bought the Partybox 710 mainly to use as a karaoke speaker. It works perfectly for that when I plug in my wireless mics and connect my smart tv to it. I like how it has karaoke controls for bass, treble, and echo. You can fine tune it to your preference. The lights are fun as well! When I use this for listening to music alone, the bass just hits! I don\'t really go above 50%. I love the sound coming from the partybox, it just hypes me up! I surprised my wife when I bought and she really fell in love with it. Even though the Partybox 310 probably would\'ve been enough for my living room, I just really wanted the extra features the 710 comes with, and I don\'t regret it! I was tempted to go with the 1000, but I\'m glad I went with the 710. It may be overkill to some, but for me it\'s perfect. I don\'t really plan on moving it too far, but the wheels are handy. I\'m still wanting to buy a 310 to bring on trips and outdoor events this summer. It\'ll be nice to connect it to the 710 as well when I\'m at home and want to be surrounded by chest thumping music. This is my first JBL, and it probably won\'t be my last! 100% recommend!
- I love it!
- This speaker is great!! Love the PartyBox app that allows you control the Light and sound! The Bass boost really does let you feel the sound! That being said it is HEAVY!! I am not moving it around so it works for what I need but if you are looking for portable then you may look at the 310 Boombox speaker! Love this speaker and I only buy JBL because the sound is phenomenal!!! Worth every penny!
- As you can see in the picture, I own both the PartyBox 110 and now the 710. The 110 is fantastic and if used indoors while plugged in, is loud enough for a gathering of about 40-50 people. However, if a gathering became larger, the 110 simply would become drowned out in the noise of conversation. So, we started using a 310 for gatherings (owned by friends) but the same thing would occur when the gathering would reach about 50-70 people. Even then it could sometimes sound like background noise. We tend to throw larger events (a college student here) so I decided to finally break down and buy the 710 so the sound issue would no longer be prevalent. After watching numerous review videos, they all mentioned how ground-shaking the bass was. Well, I can now tell you, they were not lying.Although this speaker does have to be plugged in, it\'s too large to be portable anyway. Having a built-in battery wouldn\'t do much anyways because I can\'t see a situation where this beast would be used that is not next to a power source. This is not a product you want to bring to the beach. It would make every other beach-goer angry with you.We have used this thing at large gatherings 80+ people inside and it is so loud that the music does not get lost and the bass rattles through the crowds chest. It is truly the center piece of whatever event it is present at. The wheels are nice to move it, but we would just throw it in the backseat of a car and move it place to place. The lights are also really good looking, but the sound is what I spent my money on. For personal use, max volume is definitely overkill. At 50% volume, it seems louder than the 110 on max volume and the bass is definitely deeper. Crank it up to 100% and you have a miniature concert. It also has worked well with DJ boards, if that is a concern. All in all, if you are looking for a semi-portable speaker that can bring sound for a crowd of 80+ people (even 100+) where the 110 and 310 cannot, then pick up the 710. If you are looking for a loud speaker to bring on trips, grab the 110.However, the $800 price tag will gate-keep a lot of people from picking this speaker up. I do believe it is worth the $800 if it is being used as a PARTY box. This speaker is meant for large crowds. Tame listening still sounds amazing, but this beast is supposed to be getting people up out of their seats. Max volume with bass boost will have everyone at the event dancing and singing.9/10 in my opinion, only lacking a point for portability.
- Amazing overall the experience is incredible like it out Performs my kicker L7 and that is saying something wow for a portable speaker I\'m impressed for it\'s size and light features pretty cool to best buy !! Ever
- I did my research before buying and I knew the speaker was amazing, but let me tell you, once you hear it yourself you can’t believe how much power does this relatively small speaker has. Bass is amazing, it makes everything vibrate, doors, walls, ceiling. It starts responding from 20-25 Hz, but the earthquake starts at 35Hz.This thing is a party starter. All my friends asks me to bring it to every home party they invite me. It will sound amazing indoors and outdoors. The only down side is the lack of an internal battery, but believe me, you won’t regret buying it. Just get an extension cord and you’re all set. I got a 100m extension cord to take it to the beach and it was awesome. The light show is cool, I turn off the brightest lights for personal listening and turn them on for night parties. The app is not really needed. There’s no graphic EQ, I understand there should be one if you upgrade the firmware, I personally didn’t need it.
