Anker Multi-Device Detachable Wireless Charging Station, PowerWave Go 3-in-1 MFi Certified Stand for iPhone 14/14 Pro/14 Pro Max/13/13 Pro Max, Apple Watch, AirPods, and More
- After living with this charger for a while I wanted to update my review. I went from three stars to four and I would say overall this is a good product with a couple of unfortunate flaws.First: My iPhone 14 Pro will charge if I turn it upside down. Weird, but no big deal. At least it reliably works that way.Second: The charging dock for the phone often has to be unseated and re-seated, and the button on the side pressed. I think the dock feature is kind of a bridge too far honestly. It\'s a neat idea but you flew too close to the sun, Anker. Most people are going to leave the battery docked the vast majority of the time. I shouldn\'t have to \"wake it up\" by undocking it, pressing the side button, and then re-docking it. I have to do that at least every other night with this thing. Minor annoyance, but not catastrophic. Also I put a piece of electrical tape over the side LEDs because they shine right into my face at night and it\'s just too bright. Having a \"night mode\" might be good.Overall I still recommend this product and Anker products in general. The watch and earbud chargers work flawlessly and the issues described above with the phone charger are annoying but not the end of the world.===================Original review below. There is only one thing wrong with this product. It\'s designed for an iPhone but does not adequately compensate for the camera bulge on the newest iPhones. Had this been pitched as a \"generic\" charger for all products I could see it. But it\'s marketed specifically as a product to support Apple devices. The issue is that with my iPhone 14 Pro in an Apple in an iPhone 14 Pro Clear Case with MagSafe the rubber bumper around the camera lifts the phone just far enough off the charging surface that it fails to charge and the blue light will rapidly flash on the charger. If you look at it from the side you can see there\'s just enough daylight in there for it to not make a connection.Other than this one small but significant flaw I absolutely love this piece of hardware. They could have put an indentation in the corner or something, again this was pitched as a product for Apple devices.Anker, if you have something to address this please let me know - I am quite fond of your products and this is a rare miss.
- The iPhone charger does not have a magnetic ring to keep the phone in place, so the iPhone didn\'t charge overnight on occasion. Great concept and definitely better than many charging stations because of the battery bank.
- I just can\'t comprehend the lack of magnetic charger function at this price level. My FIRST experience with this thing after 10 minutes of owning:I set it up on my nightstand (the intended primary use is night time charging) and knocked it off the pad moving things around. Can\'t wait for my arm to do it while I\'m sleeping. Thats it, right there I see mornings of irritating moments where my phone isn\'t charged because I knocked it off the stand. And now i\'m going to take this traveling?!?? Uh, no.I get it, NOT all phones have that feature. But this is a DETACHABLE battery pack which is already sold by An ker at the 5000mAh size. surely you slap on Apple Magsafe compatible to this, charge a little more and we Apple fans pick it up like it\'s going out of style. Worse, you\'re SELLING this to Apple watch and Airpod users so it\'s not like Anker is targeting a different user base. It can\'t be that hard to have the option readily available. As for price, I want to break down the price here. Individually if separately purchased, these are the current Amazon prices:* The Nano II charger is $40* The MFI apple watch base is $36* the powerwave battery pack is $50* Anker cable $12* We can\'t account for the base, but let\'s argue that it should be worth $41 because i can also charge my Airpods, especially since they have a $37 version without battery (requires users Watch charging cable) version of this. This really looked cool, seriously. I was looking forward to long days and weekends where i grab my phone, the battery and watch charger before I go off grid for 2 days. But no, Anker playing up the great reputation they\'ve established to give us mediocre products.
- Works great for me.
- I really wanted to like this charger but it’s just not quite there. The design idea is good but feels unfinished and not thought thru 100%. The watch charger is good but the iPod and phone charger are poorly designed because you can’t just set the items on it and they start charging every time. I ordered 2 of them one for me and one for my wife. One of them the watch and phone charger died 2 days later. Amazon sent me a replacement. The phone charger sucks because you have to find the perfect location for it to start charging (we have a IPhone 13 Pro and 13 pro max) and the bright blue light on the side is really bright and annoying at night on my nightstand. Also 1/2 the time I wake up and the blue light is blinking really fast and it wakes up me and my wife. I haven’t used the portable phone charger on the go so I feel that is a feature that sounds good on paper but most people won’t use as much as they think. I’m thinking of returning both of them and getting something better that works reliably. I really like Anker products but this one is pretty bad and isn’t on par with their usual innovation. I tried to like it but really hate it.
- I love this thing. The concept of taking a charging station to the next level by making all these pieces modular makes me feel like I am living in Star Trek. It is a little bulky - it does A LOT - but it\'s perfect for a desk/side table, and the modular design is so smart. Best of all: it\'s from ANKER, so I know it is quality and won\'t damage my devices.
- This product is what you expect from the Anker. QUALITY. You can feel the heft in this product. Solid piece of equipment. Has eliminated all of my various charging cables on my desk to feel less cluttered now. I LOVE the ability to take the battery pack and watch charger for travel. Charges my iPhone Pro to 100% - The battery pack was able to charge my iPad Pro from 10% to around 75% overnight.
