- Make sure this fits by entering your model number.
- [Universally Compatible] Thanks to Medley’s Optical, AUX, and RCA input cables, it is universally compatible and works with all TVs on the market. With it, you’ll be able to listen to your favorite TV shows/movies at your own volume; you’ll no longer have to turn the TV speaker volume all the way up and disturb your family or neighbors.
- [Hassle-Free Set Up] No need to go through the complex Bluetooth pairing process; simply plug the Medley's transmitter into a power source and your TV’s audio output port, power everything on, they’ll quickly connect with each other, and you should be good to go. Works brilliantly with older Non-Smart TVs as well.
- [Extended Playtime] The Earphone battery can run up to 20 hours per full charge – more than enough for a full day of binge-watching. When the battery is low, the transmitter base doubles as a charging dock; simply place the headphone onto the charging dock, it’ll start charging and be ready again in no time.

Avantree Medley Clear - Wireless Earbuds for TV Listening with Clear Dialogue, Enhanced Volume, Soundbar Passthrough, 20H Neckband Headphones with Bluetooth Transmitter & Charging Dock
- 2ND UPDATE (a couple more stars):The seller did not actually process the refund from the original refund, in spite of the status shown in my Amazon account order history. They did, however, send me a code for a free replacement that I was able to order through a somewhat awkward order process on their website. I figured it out, and it was shipped quickly and arrived as expected. So far, the replacement unit is working well, although its sound quality is more like pretty good than really great. That may be expected for earbuds, however, and it does provide me with the volume I need to make dialog generally more intelligible. My complaints about the original item - sound quality that had turned scratchy after a short period of use and the failure of the base unit to pass sound through to the sound bar when it was not in use, all are cured in this new unit.Here\'s my recommendation: take care of your hearing while you are young, but if you need a boost when watching TV later in life, this is a good unit to try.One further note about the seller -- they have been very responsive and proactive, just what you want when you encounter a product problem. Many thanks for the resolution, Avantree.Update:Added back one star - Avantree seems to have made a good faith effort to follow up after spotting my whiny review. Unfortunately I had already returned the item.If I had held on to the unit, they may have offered some alternatives. I\'m pretty sure a return was still in the cards as there were three points of failure that involved both components, the dock and the headset. It\'s possible this was just an anomalous defective unit, but after a couple weeks messing with it as it progressively got worse, I was just done with it and will continue to look for something that reliably helps compensate for my partial hearing loss as I watch TV.Original Review:Although its sound through the headset was initially acceptable, after some use the sound quality became scratchy and there was no longer any change in sound character when pressing the equalizer mode select button. It should also be noted that the transmitter dock must always be turned on to pass sound through to a sound bar, even if the headset is turned off. There is no passive pass-through, so the dock must always be powered up. In cases where the headset user isn\'t present, this results in a set of flashing lights on the transmitter dock as it is waiting to pair. This can be annoying to a TV viewer and may require covering the dock or placement out of the viewer\'s sight line.Overall, I\'m disappointed with the purchase and am returning it.
- I already had a 5006 and wanted something for my other TV, so I took a chance and bought this one instead of another Medley. If I had not foolishly thrown out thr 5006\'s box, I would probably have sent the 5006 back and bought another Medley.THE REASON: Although the two devices\' functionalities seem tb identical, the ergonomics of the Medley\'s On/Off switch is vastly superior. On the 5006, you have to press and hold for three seconds a little button buried in the control module inline with the earbud wire. On the Medley, it\'s a sliding switch on the main body - easily identifiable by touch and instant (just slide it, no waiting). Both units do the job well for this hearing-impaired Old Person, but the Medly has a clear edge.My Bottom Line: forget the 5006 and buy this one.I gind only three negatives on this one (which are also present on the 5006):* The max volume audio indicator is painfully loud. It\'s volume sb reduced by at least 75%* The audio indicator for switching between the two available frequency profiles is, likewise, painfully loud.* The audio indicator for switching between the two available frequency profiles needs to be profule-specific. Maybe an up-tone for the speech profile and a downztone for the standard profile.
- I always listen to tv with earbuds/headphones. i\'m not hard of hearing, i just find the sound to be much better for movies and music when the sound is right there in your ears. i have several earbuds for tv and i finally spent a bit more and am happy that i did. i no longer lose the connection while wandering around the house. no more hassle getting the earbuds to connect to the tv. they are flexible and comfortable.
- I loved this product I almost cried when my right ear speaker stopped working I\'m so disappointed I don\'t think I\'m in warranty or if there is one totally bummed out ..update!! Avantree jumped on this and replaced the damaged unit immediately they are AWESOME!!!
- You must turn off the base and headphone at night. They both stay on until you manually turn them off.I bought them to use while in bed. Comfortable and perfect for use while in bed at night BUT they don’t automatically turn off.
