- This is my 2nd BluOS device, next to my NAD M33. I use this one for bedroom tv/music and it can fill the house with music if desired. It has great features and best of all, only 2 cables need be connected...power and my tv optical! All the music and sound I could want! And portable too, Iove mine!
- I bought this to upgrade from my Bose (iPhone 3 version). This has awesome and surprising sound! Listening to old Jazz, Rock, or pod casts the sound is rich and full. Worth the purchase.
- I felt the sound was much better on the SONOS play 3 and play 5. To be perfectly honest this speaker never drops songs the way the sonos does. The sound is good but not on the level of SONOS. However if you can\'t listen to the song what does the sound quality matter right? I am pleased by the speaker but just not impressed by it. Also when you turn up the volume as loud as it can go. It\'s not loud at all. **UPDATE** I think the new software that can be easily downloaded hits all the problems I had with the volume and sound. I updated this to 5 stars.

- has very good clean sound and can be moved around as long as it is in range of the home wi-fi
- Very interesting and attractive packaging even though you\'ll probably never use it again and just discard it. I guess that if you\'re spending this much money, you\'d better get a pretty good-looking box, right? The instructions are pretty bare bones, just a quick start guide of three panels.I found the setup process challenging, to say the least, with my iPhone. Part of the problem is that although the instructions found in the app I downloaded, the website and YouTube (I had to check all three), speak about connecting through your Wi-Fi, in my case, I found that what they were talking about was connecting through my BlueTooth setting, which makes sense considering that the name of \"bluesound.\" I kept trying different things and after about an hour was able to play the songs from my iPhone\'s iTunes library, control the volume, etc., from my iPhone. I wasn\'t able to connect the unit to my Alexa, but it may just take some more trial and error as was the case with my iPhone.Soundwise, the unit has good sound and can really fill my office with sweet sounds. I have tried several similar bluetooth speakers and this one seems to have the best sound of them all. Not pounding bass or shrill high end, just pretty natural sounding to my ears.Once you get the unit set up, I think you\'ll be very pleased with it and its sound, assuming that you CAN get through the setup process!
