- I\'ve used the original Plantronics 900mhZ wireless office headset for the last 20 years. I guess I got a good one since it actually lasted 20 years (purchased in 2002) and survived 3 different office moves. But, it\'s just been starting to get old. I purchased this Poly Voyager Focus 2 and have been loving it. The Active Noise Cancellation helps in my open office plan. Clients report clear speech from my end as well. It is super comfortable with on-the-ear, soft-to-the-touch pads. It took a little time to figure out what everything does, and the online videos are far superior to the written instructions. My phone system has to use the HL-10 lifter, which reduces the feature of digitally answering the call (without physically lifting the receiver), but otherwise this thing is awesome. I haven\'t decided whether or not I want to link to my cell phone, but I probably won\'t use that feature.
- The need for a good set of headphones at work over the past two years is imperative. It\' doubly important for me because I have a hearing loss and a noisy office. The previous pair were adequate, but someone told me about these and I am so glad I bought them. The Office model interfaces with your landline, cell phone and computer very easily. It was easy to set up too. The noise cancellation and clarity is amazing, I can easily hear people with soft voices or accents which were problems before. They are very comfortable, light in weight and the controls are easy to use. They are worth every penny!
- Mic is not picking up my speaking voice. Zoom/ webex feedback is they can\'t hear me, I sound \'faraway\'. I had this problem with office issues Focus 1, hence I purchased my own Focus 2 as an upgrade. No improvement.Poly support has been asking me to upgrade firmware and software, which I had to do on my personal laptop as office laptop is protected with security protocols. I was asked to test on mobile phones, different laptops and troubleshoot connections, pairing. This is all very frustrating, the manual that comes with the package is brief and close to useless. Instead of receiving an expensive headset that is plug and play, I am being asked to troubleshoot and \'share my observations\'.Truly disappointed with Poly tech support, they seem clueless and eager to close my case without a resolution. For the record, the quality improved marginally after firmware updates.Range is great, I can now hear the calls clearly while moving around the house as compared to my Backbeat410, 6200UC and Focus. Mic clarity is awesome for 6200UC.
- Fits well and feels very comfortable on the ears. Range is good as well.Sadly, I get alot of echo so im returning.
