- I love my Bumpboxx. Nice and loud. When I received it by UPS I was amazed by the size and how heavy it is. The sound quality is amazing , I can hear my music all through the house. Looking forward to purchasing another one in the future.
- I\'m updating my review after receiving a replacement Freestyle V3s. The new stereo sounds great and has no buzzing noise. The build quality is still bad though. I\'m guessing this is just how they come as this is the second one I\'ve gotten like this. I\'m keeping it and giving 4*s because all in all it\'s a very cool Bluetooth speaker. If you want high quality this might not be for you. If you want a really cool super loud Bluetooth speaker it probably doesn\'t get much better then this.

- This is such a beautifully designed product and all that you see looks better even better and sounds even better closeup. Excellent build quality. The unit sounds best indoors where the air that it moves can bounce off the walls. When used outdoors you must be in close proximity 5 - 7 ft. away to get the same feel as when used indoors. However if you\'re in an outdoor area that has a covering like a gazebo, the sound is deeper/ richer than without walls or a covering to bounce sound/ air off of. Playing at full power in a field is not what this unit is for, as some videos review it that way...you\'d need a PA system for that. This is for close proximity listening when outdoors or anywhere you want when at home...it\'s an incredible sounding device.
- Bumpboxx vs. JVC RV-NB1 Kaboom BoomboxI bought this because my old radio doesn\'t have bluetooth. When I got it, I ran a comparison and the bumpboxx won in one category...bluetooth. However, the bluetooth will NOT connect to my laptop, so thats kind of a negative.I use it as a stationary radio so it\'ll stay plugged in. If/when I go cordless, it\'ll be a plus for Bumpboxx. It\'d definitely beat the JVC by less battery/rechargeable battery purchasing. I\'ll update if I test it out.When I\'m watching video clip, there is a delay in audio. It feels like everything I watch is a kung-fu movie and I need subtitles.The old 2004 JVC is louder, has more bass, and has a working FM radio. To be fair, I like to see and feel the soundwaves flowing out the speakers. If it aint rattling its surroundings, I cant hear it. That said, it might be plenty loud for others.The two problems I have (laptop connectivity & FM radio) has no remedy nor help from Bumpboxx. I tried accessing FM for almost an hour then opted to contact Bumpboxx. Bumpboxx has the most useless helpdesk I\'ve seen. They\'re non-existent.Decent speaker, but not what I was expecting.Horrible customer service, but its expected.
- The first Bumpboxx V3S I received came with a damaged/broken grill on the right speaker (see pic), and the left speaker did not play at all. Sent that one back and got a replacement. Thought all was well with the replacement till I noticed (FIRST ISSUE) a loud buzzing sound coming from left speaker when the box is turned on ... (No music playing. My hubs and son said they do not believe it to be the speaker, moreso something to do with frequency.) 2ND ISSUE - the speaker does not charge AT ALL! Left it to charge twice overnight just to go and play it the next day and it died within 3 minutes of playing it. Instructions say a blue light will show indicating it is charging. Well, no blue light came on either time. EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED WITH THIS PRODUCT AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT.In 2020, did buy a FLARE 6 for my teenage son as a Christmas present and have not had any trouble with it. He loves it and it plays and charges as it should. It is nice and loud. So instead of a 3rd V3S, I just purchased a FLARE 8 that is expected to come on 5/3. Will share my experience with that as well.Throughout this whole ordeal GronkFitness agents, Marc and David have been working with me, and did their best to rectify my situation each time. GronkFitness has offered a discount toward my FLARE 8 once I receive it. UPDATE - The discount that GronkFitness offered was a joke and I did not accept it. 2ND UPDATE: GronkFitness did reach back out to me sharing that the company understood my frustration. I did receive a discount on my FLARE 8.
- I couldn\'t get it shipped from the dealers website (Spotify), I couldn\'t get it shipped for a reasonable fee on eBay or they didn\'t ship to my location at all. Amazon got my search direction and sent me a listing so I jumped on it and I couldn\'t be happier. I got Spotify hooked up with the integrated WiFi on this beast and i\'m just jumping with joy to hear my oldies but goodie songs from the fifties and my hard rock from the sixties. It\'s what\'s keeping me going and my feet on the ground as I reach towards my Centeniel anniversary. Rock and Roll lives on and on and on.
- sounds loud bass is there treble there for the music I listen to Bluetooth worked well connected to my phone quickly haven\'t tried it on laptop haven\'t tried hooking it guitar i don\'t have one cordless mic works great haven\'t tried the SD or USB yet but mostly listen to what I have on my phone so I\'m satisfied
