  • Quality control can be spotty, so its understandable for the bad reviews, but when you get one that works, its so good.I still recommend it.
  • It\'s disappointing having this issue because when it works properly it sounds amazing but this absolutely ruins my experience
  • The Hel sounds so much better than any onboard audio i\'ve heard on a computer. Schiit\'s customer service is great as well, so stop thinking about it and just buy this DAC.

Customer service is fine I guess, takes a couple days to get back to you, but this amp is garbage. I\'d recommend the soundblaster G6 instead. The headset mic audio output is a little better sounding on the Hel, but that doesn\'t count for much when they only last 2 weeks and the money back guarantee is 15 days! Should have bought through amazon instead of Schitt\'s website so I could return for my money back.
  • I bought this directly, not from Amazon but I would like others to be aware of the poor quality of this item. When I got it the USB-c port was installed wrong or mounted incorrectly requiring me to use a lot of force to plug in.The unit itself burned out after two months of moderate use. I wouldn\'t be so worried about this except others on reddit are commenting on the poor quality of this product.
  • I bought a Hel 2 (not 2E) directly from their website. Worked great for a while, but after about a year it will randomly be undetectable by my computer. They refuse to acknowledge this defect even though there are many posts on different forums with users experiencing this issue which includes the Hel 2 and Hel 2E.It\'s very telling that there are no user reviews allowed on their website. Only reviews that paint them in a good light. Do not recommend buying anything from this company. My Fiio Q1 is twice as old as this and still works flawlessly.
  • Worked for about 6 months then randomly will disconnect for days and then suddenly work again. Returned the Hel for work by a technician and they said there is no problem. So I\'m basically out 200$ unless I want to keep paying for shipping each time the unit breaks and hope it will not reconnect when the tech receives.
  • Been using this for about a week on PS5. Comparing it to my Astro Mix Amp Pro TR, the sound quality is better. I primarily play competitive FPS and the directional sound is amazing when paired with my Logitech G Pro X headset. Wish I would’ve gotten the Schiit Hel 2 sooner. I ordered mine directly from Schiit on their website as it is about $50 cheaper, but I do recommend this unit to any gamer similar to myself. My only issue with the Hel 2 is the inability to mix chat and game audio to my liking, but it’s any easy fix by adjusting on my console.
