- I have two Amp Caddy Pros and two Amp Caddy Max. Had a minor issue with one of each and Amp Caddy replaced them immeditely. Excellent customer service. These are all great speakers and work great paired in both my golf carts!
- Purchased for recreational use, was expecting a louder sound, however sound is Adequate. Must take into consideration that this is for a Golf Cart and manufacture may assume that riders are older individuals. Sound is clear, but volume just doesn’t support rock and roll music or music for the young of heart! Definitely not a too loud speaker! Great for an older community! Works great with Bluetooth and set up was easy!
- This speaker gets good battery life. I think they advertise 16hours on one charge, and this is correct. Maybe plus some. It has good range, ~50-75ft. You can make phone calls on it and it is easy to link to any phone. The mount is OK only. It has a limited range of travel, I\'m sure to keep stability. But you cannot tilt it up or down, just left or right. Overall a great purchase and my foursome always asks if I\'m going to bring it!
- Battery life and sound quality are great. However, after using it about 10 times, the clamp stopped working. It would no longer tighten or loosen. I contacted their support team and they responded the next day and are sending a new one to me right away.
- I was unsure about this speaker, but the mounting bracket intrigued me. I have been looking for a speaker that I can take to the golf course, securely mount it and have great volume when I need it. I pulled the trigger and purchased it hoping for the best. Man, this speaker did not disappoint! The quality of the speaker is top notch and charges with a USB-C charging cable. The speaker is encased in a soft but protective rubber coating with the mount already attached. When I got to the course, I simply mounted it to the golf cart. The mount is very secure and easy to use. The speaker also pivots in any direction so you can listen in the cart or listen to it while you are on the tee or green. The volume is more than enough for the course. I found myself lowering the volume as not to disturb the golfers in front of us! I only have a view gripes about the speaker. First, the flap that covers the charging ports appears flimsy and I could see this tearing over time. You have to remove the cover every time you charge it. Second, the rear woofer on the speaker is exposed with no protective grill on it. When I pick up or move the speaker, I find that my finger are constantly pressing on it. Although its made of a rubberized material, I feel has though it could easily tear. A screen or grill would easily prevent this. Overall, the speaker is perfect for the course and provides for hours of hands free entertainment. A must have for golfers who like to boogie on the course. Since my main issues deal with durability, I will update this review in a few months to review the durability of the speaker.
- I\'m a music lover who owns more bluetooth speakers than I\'d like to admit, but this speaker caught my eye due to its mounting bracket, thus freeing up a valuable cup holder. The mount is sturdy and easy to connect, sound quality and volume are plenty good for a golf cart and i\'ve completed 3 full rounds without the need to recharge. I have two minor recommendations to improve this sweet speaker - 1) have a 2nd mounting point on the opposite side side of the speaker so it can be flipped over. I prefer to mount the speaker on the inside of the bar vs hanging off the side of the cart and doing so makes the control buttons inaccessible. Yes, it can be installed upside down with the mount arm on top but that doesn\'t seem to provide as much support. 2) improve the mounting system. The speaker attaches to the mounting arm with a plenty big bolt but I\'ve found with a bit of swiveling during the round the bolt can come loose. It hasn\'t been near enough to completely fall out but the speaker has flopped around a bit. I\'m going to try to add a lock washer to see if that helps, if not I\'ll maybe try a longer bolt with a spring to try to keep some tension on it. Otherwise this is a great golf speaker and I wouldn\'t hesitate to purchase it again!
- Bought this speaker about a year ago, has worked flawlessly, until a few weeks ago when the clamp broke, the ‘jaws’ wouldn’t tighten or loosen, sent a quick email to amp caddy, got a response the next day with a photo asking if it was the part I needed, and asked for shipping address, I emailed back that it was and provided my shipping address, got an email the next day saying the clamp would ship the following day, two days later I have a new clamp! No muss, no fuss, excellent customer service! Do not hesitate to buy this speaker, the sound is fantastic and I normally get two league nights and one weekend of 18 holes out of it before I charge it, but am quite sure I could get more time out of it, just fell into a charge routine with it. Absolutely love this speaker!
- We just wish we had the option to mount them vertically, other than that they are great! The battery life is wonderful.
