MIFA Bluetooth Speakers Portable Wireless, 60W IPX7 Waterproof Party Speaker with Loud Deep Bass,Aux Input, Micro Sd Card Supported, 24hrs Playtime,10000mAh Power Bank
- UPDATE: I\'m now on my second Wildbox, the first one having died due to being plugged into a non-standard USB-C charger (the damned thing delivered 12V to the Wildbox, which it apparently didn\'t like). I opted to buy a second one because they sound so good, once updated with the latest firmware. Unfortunately my second Wildbox was delivered with a flaw - one of the screws holding the chassis together was overtightened, cracking the plastic support pole it was in, but that was easily fixed by popping the grille off, unscrewing the bass driver nearest to the damaged support pole and sealing up the crack with some glue. How did I know it was cracked? If you push in the passive radiators and you hear air being squeezed out near one of the bass drivers, then the same thing has happened to your Wildbox.I took off one star because of after-sales support. I\'ve tried contacting Mifa several times to see if I can get a replacement circuit board for my blown Wildbox. Alas, no response so far. Seems like after-sales support is basically non-existent.PREVIOUS: I bought the Wildbox a few weeks ago based on some reviews that I saw on Youtube. I was not disappointed - the Wildbox sounds GREAT for the price. The update that was available at the time I purchased it improved the bass a bit, but also added perhaps a little too much treble. However it still sounds pretty good at lower volumes. I thought the RGB lights would be a little cheesy, but I actually ended up liking them quite a bit.The process for applying the firmware update was a little scary though. Mifa needs to provide an app for the Wildbox, similar to what\'s available for the Soundcore BT speakers. That will transform this pretty decent product into something even more special.Dislikes? Well, I guess the plastic will probably end up getting scuffed if you\'re not careful. Hey Mifa, how about providing a neoprene sleeve for the Wildbox, similar to what Soundblaster did for their Roar2 BT speaker? :-)
- The Mifa Wildbox is an awesome little speaker. The only thing that can come close at this price point is the Soundcore Motion Boom. The Mifa Wildbox has JBL Xtreme 3 drivers in it, fantastic battery life, lights, tws pairing, and just fantastic sound performance you won’t get anywhere else for the money. I had a JBL Charge 5 and did a/b comparison, the Wildbox plays louder, has deeper bass, and better battery life for less money. Update, I bought a JBL Xtreme 3 today, just to test against the Wildbox. The Wildbox and Xtreme 3 sound almost exactly the same, Xtreme 3 was $349 at Walmart, Wildbox was $95. Save yourself money and get the Wildbox you will not be disappointed.
- Box shipped to me crushed. Customer service contacted me to remedy my issue and made sure I was taken cared of! 5*! Good to see they take care of their customers!Speaker Review:Pros:USB-C for the winNice Deep Bass, especially when listening to Hip Hop. Sound really fills the room. You can toggle off the bass boost when listening to other genres.TweetersLed Lights with different modes, also can turn off the led lights.Aux input & Micro SD card are useful if you aren\'t using the bluetooth functionIP67 Which makes it dustproof & waterproof up to 3ft for 30 minsFloatsCan charge other devices via USB-A portCons:No user app to update firmwareNo custom EQ (the default EQ is more than adequate for most listeners)After a week of heavy listening with this Wildbox I\'m super impressed with how the DEEP BASS sounds on this thing. The mids and highs are adequate and you can hear the vocals. The sound from this thing is really boomy indoors and fills the room. Outdoors with a few friends works perfectly. Although I prefer this as my indoor speaker. The LED lights have grown on me and I find myself always wanting them on.When listening to genres other than Hip Hop I turn off the Bass boost funtion which makes the highs and mids have more clarity. Knowing I can toggle that booming bass back on anytime is a bonus. At this price range it is an EASY RECOMMENDATION!
- Battery life is not great but it sounds great
- There is a rattling sound out the box of my speaker. I know it is defective. I will update if receive a functional speakerUpdate: After talking to Mifa they agreed to replace the defective unit. After receiving the new one I could confirm the speaker was defective as the new one sounded crisp. The speaker is great , insane bass and clear sounds. I use this for work in a loud kitchen and it\'s able to overpower it. It also pushes the bass through the whole room. I will give MIFA customer service a 5/5 and a 10/10 speaker
- I mostly used it when I\'m working, it\'s loud enough, very good bass for it\'s small size. I didn\'t test it in water yet but it looks fairly well built. Good little speaker for your everyday use,and the lights really makes it stand out. Love it!
- The media could not be loaded. I purchased this for use in my backyard and for in the garage when I’m working in the driveway. For these purposes it works well. It’s not super loud but loud enough and sound is good. The construction is plastic but feels pretty solid. No rattles or poor feedback from the buttons. It looks to be legitimately IP65. This would also be adequate for poolside use or beach blanket use. The tight seams and design should be particularly good for keeping sand out. The unit is simple to operate and pairs easily. Hold the M button 2 seconds and what we you are streaming from should see it. The bass enhance button should be left on for most everything except for already boomy tracks. Without the bass enhance on most normal tracks are a bit flat. With it on it sounds pretty well rounded. Good unit for smaller outdoor areas where a small speaker onlyform factor is insufficient.
- Sounds amazing. Deep base and good clear highs. Worth every penny for the sound you get. Forget how it looks. The sound is what matters.
