- The media could not be loaded. Edit 4/26: After doing some research, I\'ve decided to reevaluate my review on the basis that the wobble was apparently intended by the manufacturer. (See the product video titled Why are the Air Omni Lite Type-C & Lightning Ports Flexible? available at the bottom of the item page)Updated Comments: The device is futuristic, charges six devices simultaneously, has a nice hidden type compartment for storing a small accessory, and matches perfectly with the Black Aramid line of cases for your phone and AirPods. The travel bag [which I also purchased in a separate order] expands nicely to fit a host of other accessories and the massive brick of a power charger that comes with the Air Omni unit. There have been some reports of phones overheating when left on the wireless charger, this didn\'t happen to me so YMMV and obviously as a newish company releasing a first or second generation item there may be some bugs, but overall I\'m pleased with the product, and Pitaka\'s customer service is quite good (specifically representative Lydia). Here\'s to hoping there\'s no wobble on the Lightning/USB-C port in a future release, and this would\'ve been a slam dunk five-star product.Original Review:I wanted so badly to love this charger. The concept, how slick it is, the fact that I also have a Pitaka case and other Pitaka products. Man what a disappointment that wobble is, see attached video. First off even Pitaka\'s own case doesn\'t connect with an iPhone 12 Pro Max, you have to take the case off, and even then you need to two-hand to get it to attach just right, and it\'s hanging on by a thread, not a snug fit at all. Renders the charger useless for that charging type. Was this some QA issue or are all their chargers like this?
- I purchased the air omni a year ago to be able to charge all my apple items. It worked like a charm. I decided to buy a second one to give to my wife. Imagine my surprise when I opened the new one and found Pitaka addressed the 2 items that were cured as issues. They revised the lightning connector and now included the apple watch connector ready to go. No more installing your existing cord. It\'s ready to go out of the box. They took the complaints and addressed them in this release. Very pleased they listened and upgraded the air omni. You will not be sorry you purchased this item.
- I have been using it for 1.5 months. Looks nice. When using a cable, it takes a while to charge. I stopped using it 2 nights ago bc the wireless charging started making a noise when charging my iPhone 12 Pro Max and when I picked it up, the phone was so hot that it even showed a messages saying g that the phone needed to cool down... I can’t return this anymore!?!?!?!!!!
- When I bought this, I assumed I could not use it with my Fossil Carlyle watch and charger, but after setting it up for my iPad Pro and my Samsung S10+, I decided to experiment using my Fossil charger and happily surprised to find it is quite workable. It\'s not a perfect fit, and depending on which charger I use, a little loose and will likely require a little adhesive, or too deep so will require I use the watch charger down only. Both are viable options and considering I bought this with the assumption I could not charge my watch at all, a benefit. In the process of setting this up I was able to remove a multi-port USB hub, a Qi phone charger stand, and a stand for my Fossil watch, recovering desk space since the iPad was taking up space on my digital drafting board, as well as the ugly cord clutter. Plus, once I buy earbuds with Qi charging, likely another pair of Bose, the desk will be cleaner, and this product even more worthwhile. The one con so far is the looseness of the iPad connector, and of course the hack for my watch, but as mentioned, it seems tolerable, considering the benefits.
- Wanted to buy something like this to eliminate all the chargers & space I had [phone, I-watch, tablet] and this is one of the best products I\'ve purchased in a long time. Was reluctant at first because of past reviews on it overheating but since they {reviews} were pretty old I was sure they\'ve corrected/addressed that issue. So far I haven\'t had any overheating and everything is charging perfectly..
- This is a great charging hub, my only complain is that the wireless charging. The wireless charging is not compatible with the iphone 12 pro max possible for its size. You can lay it on the designated area and the phone will not charge.
- Charges my Jaybird Vista II earbuds as well.
- This is by far the best purchase I have made for any sort of charging doc for my devices. The feature that got my attention right away is that pop up Apple Watch dock. I find the original cable from Apple very troublesome because it has the tendency to slip off the table as soon as I lay it on my night stand to charge. With this, I can easy plop the watch on the dock and it charges. Not only does it charge the watch, but my iPhone(s), iPad Pro, Air pods, and more at the same time. The design of it for me is just perfect. Although the price tag is pretty high, you\'re paying for a very premium product. I have ordered another one to put on my work desk. Thank you PITAKA for putting in so much work on this dock. It\'s so amazing and I can\'t stop recommending it to Apple users.
