- This full rich sound is what I crave. And with its copper touches its so pretty (wish they had done a white copper version though). I went through Senn, Shure, Marshall and Bose before landing happily on these. Did not like the cost but it is what it is.BASS, plenty. I had to reduce my EQ\'s low setting else I\'d have bad headaches within 2 tunes.TREBLE, from tenor/soprano voices and Meyer\'s Fender Strat and flutes, sharp and crisp like I love them. The reasons for knocking off a star, though I hate to are:■■ Worst buttons on any headset ever in my 40 years of buying headsets! I mean drugstore $14 ones have better. These are hard plastic. Located badly at the top of the ear cup. I have to take the set off to get at the multi function center button. And there\'s no rewind/ffwd! At $350, are they kidding me? Solid gold accessiries available for 600 and buttons feel like they are from a cheap toy. The kind in the trash by Dec 26. AWWWFUL VModa.■■ Too much tension. Hurts the jaw and ear.■■ No Bluetooth during charging. No audble batt check feature until a blast of notes when unit is nearly out of power. The matte case shows oil stains. So if you have on moisturizer you\'ll have to wipe it off.If you need noise cancelling these have little.See pics of my fav PowerAmp app EQ setting for these.
- I have been a fan of VMODA headphones for many, many years now. Chose this brand over Beats as I always found the sound quality an upgrade. This set is no exception to that rule, I have been contemplating and nervous about the right set of wireless headphones as the sound quality usually lacks the deep bass and sound quality I require for my listening. This is an ABSOLUTE must buy, the bass deep and rich without the tin can sound quality of most wireless devices. Headphones very snug and totally noise cancelling, just how I like it. The comments referring to needing the XL cups may be true for some however the standard cups work great for me so far in a 3hr listening window. The price..........if you want quality, you don\'t sacrifice price, if you do you end up with trash that you will ultimately not be happy with. That being said, as a long time consumer of this brand it would be nice to get some kind of perks, a set of free or reduced custom plates or something.
- I bought these to replace a $40 wired Razer gaming headset. Figured having BT and such would help with always being wired.First off, listening to music is great. In fact, they might be the best headphones I\'ve ever used to listen to music. Clear bass, audible lows, and all that good stuff. So much better than my Galaxy Live buds or any pair of headphones I have around the house. So if you\'re going to use these strictly for music, this is it.For everything else, these fall short. I\'ll start with Bluetooth. Be advised, BT lags on these headphones. I\'ve never had BT lag like these do. I would say a solid half-second when watching movies or videos. Not an issue with just audio, but if you\'re watching a movie or a video it\'s extremely annoying. These are the only headphones I\'ve owned with BT that lag this bad. If you use a wire obvs that won\'t be an issue but if you plan to use headphones wirelessly to play video games, watch a movie, Youtube, whatever, just go in knowing this.Speaking of video games, it doesn\'t handle the sound very well. Often it\'s just very low. It might be a software issue but as far as gaming headsets go, these are terrible. The lag is so important here, too. Because it\'s EXTREMELY noticeable. That\'s wireless, btw. Wired you get no delay. But the sound isn\'t any better. Even with 7.1 surround sound software turned off they were not impressive.Cushions. These people knew that everyone hated the cushions and instead of changing them, they offered \"XL Cushions\" for sale separately of course. I see so many people who wear glasses complaining about this. The XL Cushions help tremendously, but that they didn\'t just replace them and instead chose to sell them as a separate accessory is some wild nonsenseMicrophone. It\'s okay. I\'ve had better. Both the wired mic and the one built into the headset are at best mid. People will hear you but it won\'t be as clear as many other headsets. Of course, they also sell a completely separate mic instead of including it with this product but yeah you figure that out.Overall, if you like listening to music only these are great. For everything else, these are way too expensive and you can find other headsets that fit your needs for A LOT cheaper. Hope I saved you some cash, fam.
- I buy it purely for the look, the ascent rose gold color with matte black is just too dam sexy! The sound quality is okay since I don\'t expect it to sound good anyways. A bit dark and narrow, perfect for the bass heads.
- If you like your music loud all the time and bass heavy then maybe you\'ll love these. However, if you ever want to listen to music quietly... Well look elsewhere. There is no way to make these headphone quieter than what I would consider barely below a maximum comfort level. I don\'t know about you but I value my hearing too much to listen at extreme volumes.I do feel like these headphones did a good job with sound retention and despite not being \"noise cancelling\" they do a good job of keeping outside noise out. They also have excellent battery life and charge very quickly. They also seem very sturdy (cannot attest to longevity because I returned them after a week) and the case they came with was awesome. However, as someone who wears glasses I found them uncomfortable to wear for more than 1 hour at a time. I also felt like if my ears were much larger (I would consider my ear average to small size) then my ears would NOT have fit comfortably inside the cups. So if you wear glasses or have large ears, I would definitely avoid these if you plan to listen for long periods of time. Maybe the softer pads that V-Moda sells would fix the comfort issues, but considering the issues I also had with the volume level and bass, I chose to return them. Too bad. I really wanted to love them.
