I have always been an avid B&O fan. I\'ve always loved their products. It\'s very very hard for me to give these earphones a over all bad review and I honestly hate doing it. I\'m so disappointed in these buds.First and foremost, the positve. (the ONLY positive aspect about these buds) The sound is second to none. It is just simply beutiful and there are no other earphone that can compare. It just feels like you right there watching/listening to whatever you are being entertained with.That said, unfortunately there are some serious functionality issues which make using the earphones really difficult. For one, they don\'t exactly fit snug in your ear. They are consistantly shifting. I realized that this has a lot to do with how short the earphone cord actually is compared to other sets, like BeatsX. Turning your head too much in any direction causes them to slip out from your ear. This is truly problematic as that alone defeats the purpose of them being what B&O consider this set mainly for those who are active in sports or what have you.Second. Bluetooth connection issues are poor. Sound is fine and there are no issues when watching video or listening to music. As mentioned, they\'ve got exceptional sound. Better than any other earphone I\'ve ever used. At least wireless anyway. But the problems here are simple details. When you aren\'t using the set, once both ear buds are connected to each other via magnetic connection they immediately turn off. While one would think this is a useful function, and at first, it seems as such, it actually isn\'t useful at all. Once they turn off, they lose Bluetooth connection and when you want to use them again, you have to reconnect them to Bluetooth. This makes taking calls from anyone impossible. You would have to take the call using your phone itself and then manually connect the earphones. This isn\'t convenient at all. In fact, the set when not used at all for what seems about no more than five minutes, they automatically turn off. Again, not a good thing.In the end, while the sound is great, if not superb, these are in no way good earphones for travelling, anywhere. They are best suited for in-home use only. Do not buy these earphones if you plan on working out with them or even just a causal walk around the block. You\'ll wind up having issues. If you\'re looking for an earphone set for pysical activity that involves more than just sweeping your front porch (even that might be pushing it) go with something else. These earphones are really only good for laying in bed or in a completely still position. So whatever you do, don\'t buy these because they are water resistant and meant for an active lifestyle because you\'ll miserably disappointed. And if these aren\'t good for one whom is an active person, that defeats the purpose entirely. BeatsX is actually a much, much better option.It\'s truly truly sad because these provide such a wonderful sound but because of the lack of functionality of them, I had to return them.
Nice headphones, a little chunky at the ear, and maybe I would\'ve preferred an unthethered cord alternative.But been using these everyday for 2months, and very happy - need to make sure I charge them once a day, but aside from that nothing too annoying. Bluetooth connectivity has worked seamlessly with my Pixel3 XL, and general audio quality is significant upgrade over my previous headphones.Wouldve been perfect with a some noise cancelling 4/5
They don\'t fit very well despite the array of bud sizes that come with it. It\'s string length is just barely long enough and while they sound good as soon as battery hits 50% it dies really fast, but charges up fairly quickly. They\'re just ok over all
The cord connecting the ear peice is too short:At this length is rubs the back on the neck and pulls earpieces out when you turn your head. With any collared shirt, it is problematic.Magnetic headphone shut off: because of the length of the cord and the lack of compelling magnetism, they wont connect when you have a collared shirt on. When they do connect. It shuts off the headphones... but when you unconnect the magnets it needs to be manually turned back on.Bluetooth connection is easily interrupted and has a low range. I often need to switch my phone to a different pocket.
The B&O earphones are as good as their website says they are.BUTThese earphones are for mobile devices, specifically cell phones. This very important fact is left out of the Amazon site\'s description, and the B&O website\'s Description and Specifications. These earphones, when used with a PC, automatically turn off after 15 minutes. That cannot be overridden by any means. B&O responded to my inquiry by confirming that the E6 earphones are for mobile devices only, particularly cell phones.I returned the E\'6\'s with no problem. Thanks Amazon; Customer Service, as always, was great.I subsequently ordered the Shure 535LTD earphones. More expensive, but they work with my PC as well as my Samsung (Android) Galaxy S7 cell phone, and Samsung (Android) Galaxy Tab4 tablet. Sound is worth every penny.
