• Well, I think this thing sounds great, and the price certainly was right. Unfortunately, I now have problems with getting Alexa to play Spotify correctly. When I play an entire album, usually the first two or three seconds of each song is cut out. Plus, it can\'t even play entire albums anymore -- when I ask Alexa to play an album, it usually resorts to just playing one song off the album (for example, if I say, \"Alexa, play The Unforgettable Fire album by U2,\" it will play the *song*, but not the album).Nevertheless, the way around this is to use your phone or tablet with the Alexa app to handle all your Spotify needs. And that works fine. I sure would prefer to use voice instead though.At any rate, I don\'t regret buying this thing, as it sounds much, much better than the Echo Dot, and it\'s still very useful to have Alexa around as an AI assistant. Plus, enabling her with skills opens up all kinds of possibilities.
• My wifi box was damaged and had to be switched out. Alexa says she is having trouble connecting to the internet. I tried calling to get help on how to connect Alexa to the internet. No one has been able to help. Alexa has fallen and can\'t get back up. If anyone knows how to reconnect Alexa to the internet, please share with me.
• I bought the HK Allure and my major gripe after many weeks of use was that Alexa would stop responding. She would still follow commands such as, \"play music,\" but wouldn\'t respond when asked a direct question like, \"what\'s the temperature outside?\" This would happen daily and required a hard reset once a day.I traded it in for the portable version because it claims, \"Alexa certified.\" It works a little more reliably, but only just so, requiring hard resets every other day. It might be excusable if you could reset remotely from the app, but there isn\'t an HK app that works with the Allure as a remote. As I\'ve said in my other review, the app is crap (just look at those reviews!).Finally, it sounds good but not as good as the non-portable version. So you\'re making a very conscious decision to trade off sound quality for portability, which for me, is not worth it.With no clear path to firmware updates or app or Alexa upgrades, this one might be going back too. It\'s a shame because it\'s so close but so far away from being the greatest speakers I\'ve ever owned.
• The speaker is small and therefore easy to carry around. At the same time it\'s very powerful and the sound is of great quality. Also it has Alexa so you can inquire about songs, the weather, your shopping list and so on. I found no cons with the product.
• This is based on a lifetime audiophilee -58 years of mostly Bose & JBL . This speaker is a little Disappointing considering H & Ks reputation .the pros is ;it’s portable ,the cons are : sound is on the flat side but clear ,would not recommend to turn volume to full capacity. It does not allow you to make phone calls like other Alexa products. Considering the price and it’s portability I’m Debating whether to keep or not .
• It’s amazing but my reason for the 4 starts is because Alexa doesn’t works perfectly. You have to be patient with AlexaMore than 2-3 times until she u de esta the what did you said!!! Good Spain’s perfect for trips and a little hard with the configurations.
• i like speaker, portable and sleek design. (the reason i bought this speaker beautiful design). the speaker come bigger than my expectation.Alexa works great although bluetooth connection sometimes cut,this must fix by FW asap.The good things connect wi-fi and bluetooth same time, better feature than my Sonos speaker .Overall its good for this price
• Amazing full sound from this \"small\" speaker. I was skeptical that this would be a true hk quality item, but I wasn\'t disappointed.Bass, mids and highs are all there. Very rich and full sound.If it has a flaw, it\'s that it has no carry handle. BUT, there is an available case here on Amazon that\'s very good quality for about $20. Def a great investment. Makes it very easy to carry and is solid protection as well.
