Jaybird RUN XT True Wireless Headphones (Black/Flash)
- I almost returned this item. I bought these headphones for bike riding and working out (with some everyday use). Fit was incredibly important, so I found wireless earbuds with wings. But when I first got them they kept falling out of my ears! After a few days of fiddling, I finally found the combination that lead to a secure fit. Ever since, I\'ve never had these fall out of my ears. I haven\'t taken them bike ride yet, however. The comment of video audio lag is true. About 10secs for me. Not incredibly important for me since I don\'t use them to watch videos often, but if you want these for everyday use it is a consideration.Battery length is very good for a workout earbud. I can get multiple workouts in without having to charge them. Nice case that makes it easy to keep them safe. There is also a bit of an issue of interrupted audio if your phone is obstructed. If my phone is in my left pocket, not my right, I sometimes get fuzzy audio. Again, not too much of an issue when working out since your phone is close. But you won\'t be wandering all around the house with these.I would definitely recommend these as a workout earbud. I\'m not sure I would recommend them for everyday use.
- My ears are a special kind of fit and I bought these to see if I can do true wireless. They work. These were clearly refurbished. Had to do a bit of a clean up of grode. The sound is nothing spectacular but I feel like they\'re a bit imbalanced even with adjustments using the app. They definitely block out noise but not ANC so don\'t go crossing any streets without looking.Battery life is a bit questionable but if they can get me through at least 2 hours of gym time without losing them or dying on me...I can live. Good deal for under 30 bucks for this experiment. I usually rock my jaybird x3s. Bought another pair. Actually bought both of these for the price of what it would cost to buy 1 pair alone normally. Got no big complaints.
- I\'ve struggled a lot finding a good set of wireless earbuds that are not bulky and that don\'t slip out of your ears. These are the best. During runs i don\'t have to re-adjust them every couple minutes, I make sure they\'re in snuggly and rarely have to touch them again. Perfect for the gym as well. I will buy these again once I break the current pair I have
- It is what the title says. Favorite for my husbands workouts, but won’t hold a charge more than 30 minutes now. Great until this point, but not a buy-for-life product.
- I\'ve had a number of famous brand name wired and wireless buds, and none of them ever fit right, except the Apple included-with-purchase ones, but they have their own issues. I wanted a sweat proof product for workouts, so when I saw these deeply discounted after a new model came out, I decided to take a fling.I apparently have small ear canals, which was my major problem with other types, but these popped right in right out of the box, no experimenting with tip sizes. I have a tin ear, but the sounds is great for me. Seems like they fit pretty securely, although I did have one fall out one day - not sure I had it in right. Pairing was a breeze.I\'m now a Jaybird fan!
- I have been a loyal Jaybird user for years and have always found them to be a quality product. I still think that they have good quality but where I came across a problem with these Run XT\'s is in the inability to program them to meet my needs. All I wanted them to do was to allow me to pause the music, click to do a next track or previous track and allow me to raise or lower the volume. They will not do even these simple things. I checked the web and finally called and talked to tech support and they guy I talked to said that I was right that they would not do all those things. He said it was a software issue and that if I wanted to be able to do them that I needed to upgrade to the newer Vista 2. Well for me that became a deal breaker so I returned them!Taking the techs advise I looked into the Vista 2 model and soon discovered that while they did indeed do the things I wanted they also had a proprietary ear tip and wing combination that appears only to be available from Jaybird. This to was unacceptable because I like the feel and fit of memory foam tips so that was a turn off on that model. One more thing on the Run XT\'s and that is the overall sound and app that controls the sound is outstanding! The music sounds great and is crystal clear and is even fully customizable which I think is a neat feature. I am still a fan of Jaybird but for now will persue other options.
