  • Pros:Very Comfortable (I wear glasses); it\'s like I don\'t even feel them around my ears or on top of my head I love comfortable headphones.Very good low end frequency responseMade in Japan and shipped from Japan (was trying to read the back of the box --everything is Japanese, confusion ensued)Paired with an Amp/Dac Combo you can tweak the mids/highs to be represented a bit more, as well as the bass.PriceVery good for watching movies, and listening to musicTested these bad boys in a few games mostly single player (Witcher 3, Black Mesa, Crysis 3); In my opinion I wouldn\'t recommend these for multiplayer games like cs:go, because of the lack of treble provided by these cans; however, I have tried these cans in Battlefield 4 and it was overall good experience. The boomy bass of the explosions, whizzing bullets hitting the walls or flying around me, and enemies walking by was also picked up (but very faintly). Using the Amp changed that faint treble experience into a very acceptable one, and it actually amazed me how capable these headphones are.Cons:Made in ChinaBuild Quality is a little iffy for mobile usenon-detachable cablevery very long cable (3.5 m which is 11.48 ft)little weak on the treble (if you use an amp it will help)I wish the ports were close-able, because closing the ports provide a better sound stage experience. In my experience I felt the highs/mids sounded kind of airy. I closed the ports with some cotton and the sound was compact, and the bass was more impactful.Despite it\'s flaws I absolutely think these are one of best purchase out of all the cans I bought so far (Sennheiser G4ME ZERO, Kingston HyperX Cloud Gaming Headset, Logitech G35 7.1 Headset, Astro A40, Sennheiser HD 598, AudioTechnica AD 700X, Phillips SPH9500, JBL j88i, Steelseries v2, V-MODA M-80, Creative Aurvana Live! 1, Creative Aurvana Live! 2, Razer Electra, and JVC HARX300). I have recommended these to my friends. I am very satisfied with this purchase.
  • I recently bought a portable Blue Ray player with monitor, and wanted a comfortable set of headphones to go with them. As I don\'t intend to use these too often, I was looking for something inexpensive yet with decent quality sound. After doing some research, these headphones seemed to fit the bill, so I ordered them. Below are my pro\'s and con\'s on them.Pros:- They have a good range, although the lower registers sound a little better than the higher ones- They are very comfortable, and fit well over my ears. But the real secret for comfort, imho, is that they have a head band, a feature usually associated with more expensive headphones. The headband rests very lightly on the top of my head, and I can wear these for hours (which was the intent, after all).- They come with a long cord, so you don\'t have to be right beside the device you have them plugged into.- The plug is a standard 3.5mm stereo mini-plug, and it comes with a gold-plated 6.3 mm stereo standard plug adapterCon:- They sound \"muddy\". When I first tried these, I thought they sounded ok. But when I tested them against another set I have of roughly comparable price (a pair of steelseries headphones that cost about sixty dollars, but includes a built-in microphone), I was amazed at how much better the steelseries sounded. I always thought my steelseries had a good sound for the price range, but nothing special. But they sound much, much clearer and crisper than the Pioneer headphones.Neither a pro nor a con:- They feel a little flimsy and \"hard-plasticy\", and I\'m a little concerned about long-term durability. But this may not be a problem long-term, as I haven\'t owned these long enough to tell, so it\'s just a comment. And given the low price of these headphones, I realize one shouldn\'t expect too much along these lines.Overall, I like a lot of the features on these headphones, especially the head band. However, now that I\'m aware of much better my other low cost headphones sound, I have a hard time truly enjoying these. So, overall I give these three and a half stars, rounded down to three.
  • I bought this headphone 4 years ago. till now it is working so good, the sound quality is extraordinary. Only thing, is the design it is not comfortable for my head, as I need to make some adjustment to it. After that it is working like a gem. I recommend buying this product.
  • The cable is quite long and the sound is great for such a cheap pair of headphones. I use them to play on my Xbox and the sounds I am hearing now are much better than before and all I have done to my system is replace my Sony headphones for the Pioneer and I am hearing footsteps and voices I never heard before. Very happy with my purchase and would buy again without a second thought. Great headphones.Edit : Sound is still great but the frame is very weak. Both hearing cup assemblies have broken off at the joint and where the pivot is there is a screw that is the actual pivot and it has broken off on one side. While the sound is superb the frame is too weak for me to buy again. These are not the only brand of headphones I have had the same problem with. It is not as if I am rough with them, it has always happened just taking them off. I like these so will strengthen the weak join with some carbon fibre as that should fix them. Sound is 5 stars but frame is 1 star.
  • Fine for everyday needs for TV,computer, boombox, sound systems, etc.Downgraded this product from 5 stars to 2 stars after 1 year of usage. No complain for the sound whatsoever. The phones fall apart in 1 year of normal usage (no any harsh scenarios).Once they arrived, theylooked made out of solid quality materials. In a year,Left phone just fall down for the cheap plastic holder cracked after a normal and safe phones usage. No any way to affix it back reliably for construction of these doesn\'t allow it. Shame on Pioneer nowadays phones\' quality. Get back to your normal standards or, otherwise, sell these for 5/7 US dollars. Sound itself is fine, sound isolation is excellent - no complain for these within a year.
