  • Love the look! I waited forever before getting these and I regret not getting them sooner. While they do not cancel noise, they do lessen outside noise. I have no complaints!
  • I wanted to like this, but Razer seriously dropped the Ball. It uses \"bluetooth 5.0\" as a selling point, but what it fails to mention is that if you plan to use this with your computer, your computer NEEDS to have Bluetooth 5.0. This is my experience as someone who does not have one on their computer; My computer has a 4.2 Bluetooth. It detects/connects to the headset and works in the sense that it plays audio. But it doesn\'t connect to razer synapse, which is how you\'d control sound quality and one of the biggest features; the light up ears. I initially thought it might\'ve be a faulty product, but no. It connects to the razer studio and rgb apps on my phone and both apps easily recognized it as the kitty kraken bt. So went through the entire troubleshooting guide on the website, uninstalled synapse, reinstalled, restarted computer, etc. Even tried it on 2 different but arguably similar computers. Nothing worked. Contacted Razer support directly, and they tried to just give me a replacement as they thought it was faulty. But I don\'t want a replacement, I want to find out what\'s wrong with it. After getting bounced between 2 different support techs (and 3 tech supervisors), over the course of 3 (almost 4) days, they still haven\'t given me an answer. Even when I\'ve asked if my computers Bluetooth being 4.2 was part of the problem, they wouldn\'t give me a direct answer about it.It all came to a head when my partner and I tried connecting it to his laptop that has a 5.0 Bluetooth. Synapse detected it almost instantly, and worked like it was supposed to. Then we tried connecting it to his mother\'s laptop (that also has 5.0 Bluetooth) and it connected to synapse on that one too!You might be thinking \"well i don\'t care about synapse\" and that\'s fine, do whatever you want. But using it without a 5.0 adapter was tedious and lack luster. The audio was fine, battery life is solid, and when you can get the color to work, they are nice and vibrant. But without the extra bits that razer is known for, and the quality, it feels way over priced for \"cute\" headphones. If the box or webpage said that you\'d need 5.0 for full functionality, I wouldn\'t have bought them. But it doesn\'t! It tells you what you\'d need to use it with your phone, but not your computer. These have wide spread appeal, the least you could do is make some notion of it on the box so the general public has some idea of what they\'re spending their hard-earned money on. Buy at your own risk.Oh and one last thing before I go; the first time I used these in a discord call, the headset turned off the sound for everything else BUT the discord call. Dunno if synapse would fix THAT but it annoyed the heck out of me very fast.
  • NOTICE: this is a few hours in since I got the headset delivered!!So, I got this from prime day, needed new headset and always liked cat ears. I went to read some reviews, since I was skeptical about the Bluetooth, and saw a lot of reviews about audio quality, delay, and app support on PC. I think most reviews are lazy haha here\'s why:Audio quality/Delay: They are amazing so far!! Works as expected. Did a simple delay test on YouTube and they seem fine so far. MAKE SURE THEY ARE IN \"VOICE, MUSIC\" mode in Windows, they should connect straight out of the box to that mode, if not, disconnect and reconnect in Windows.App support: I seen so many reviews saying it doesn\'t show up in Windows Razer Synapse, but I don\'t know what to tell you, the shots are there haha. Make sure to update Synapse, I guess. (Yes, you can change chroma from PC too!)Again!!! Only a few hours in, but it worked right out of the box for me.
  • Love the new headphones! Initially we couldn\'t figure out how to change the colors for the ears and side logos- turns out that you have to download the \"Razer Chroma RGB\" app to do that. There may be another way to change the colors, but we found this to work just fine. I was really surprised to see this latest version of the Kitty Kraken BT edition selling for less than the wired version. I am a little concerned that my child will never pay attention to me again as they are noise cancelling and wireless...figuring out if that is a pro or con...???All kidding aside, we have only had them 2 days now, but the sound quality is fantastic and the audio is clear (we are not audiophiles, we just have standard issue ears). A couple of things to consider when purchasing - they require a bluetooth connection, our computer did not have one. If you plan to use with PC and need BT, pick up a bluetooth USB dongle for $10 or so on Amazon (we opted for the MPOW 5.0 it hasn\'t arrived yet). Also to reduce latency for gaming, make sure to put them in gaming mode - instruction come with headphones, but for those that need it: triple press power button and hold the last press for 2 seconds ( that will activate and deactivate gaming mode).Revised review: after using them for a few days we discovered that they can’t be used to both be on a Discord call and listen to the PC game that you are playing. It seems like they only play one audio source. I found a review on YouTube that claimed they had contacted Razer support and they confirmed that the headphones did not support that function. Hopefully it is something that Razer can fix with a driver update. I am changing my rating from five stars to four.Revised, revised review... There is a way to get two audio sources, the audio is clearer for the chat options (Zoom, Discord, etc...) than it is for the game. Change the playback source in the sounds settings (right click speaker icon in taskbar).
  • The only benefit here is that it is wireless. It is uncomfortable and not as squishy and plush as the chorded one, noise cancelation is minimal and doesn’t offer much, music coming out of it sucks, and the general audio from this device is abysmal. Even when you play with the device settings on the computer, it doesn’t change a thing.Don’t waste your money and get the chorded one instead, it’s INFINITELY better.
