  • Superb delivery package service from Amazon, arrived at Jakarta-Indonesia without any delay. The L1 is in perfect condition, just try it today, very good build from RHA, somehow feels nicely fit in my palm. But the OTG cable didn\'t work with my Samsung S8 plus, still trying to figure out why the android can\'t detect it. But it runs smoothly on windows10 laptop though. A little too much bass, the overall sound signature is powerful from below, almost flat but there\'s also strong warmth around. Detail is solid, but kind of biased in soundstage. So my short review is that L1 basically has a good SQ, maybe not very easy to drive like F... o, not as powerful as IFI BL, but its amazingly portable and light weight, also looks very cool whenever im holding it or just stays on the table, its very well build, all the buttons are well protected to avoid accidently mispress/turn which may cause hearing damage. And still i\'m getting a powerful also easy to listen good quality of sound that specially tuned by RHA.This may not be a perfect complete package DAC, but i think L1 has its own place amongst them and i\'m giving it 5 stars because its uniquely special like no other.
  • I am extremely happy with the RHA DACAMP 1. It fully meets my expectation. Keep in mind if you are planing to buy this item. You MUST have a very good pair of headphones to see he results , those white Apple earphones will basicly blow up ( internally not literally). If you try to use them. Like most items that need many parts to work together, your only as good as your weakest link. I use Shure 535’s. With AALC files on my phone and FLAC files on my cpu. And you can really here the difference, If your playing MP3 or pandora You will not. The files are just not large enough to have all the info on them. However if you set up your personal system correctly ( nice large files / DACAMP1 and a kick ass pair of cans. The DACAMP will open up a new world of music for you
  • I have tried almost everything in the $1K and below range. This is a great little unit. Built like a tank with inputs for everything. The DAC is not as smooth as the Chord Mojo, but unlike the Mojo it supports balanced output. Other than the Mojo, your best deal in this price range. Some of the DACs in this price range don’t sound very good, and are really no more than amps.+ Tough, industrial build+ Decent battery life+ True balanced output+ Very dynamic sound+ Wide Treble and Bass EQ, ability plus AND minus!+ Amazing input options+ Bargain at $299 (12/23/17)- Not as smooth as the Mojo- Balanced out uses non-standard mini XLR jack
  • I hate to rain on this parade but my L1\'s amp went out a month in owning. I would use the device as a desktop dac / amp plugged into my PC using the mini usb connector. I truly enjoyed the dual Sabre\'s on this little guy. They sound detailed, articulate and lush. I would have loved to keep it. Other then a bad amp the L1\'s balanced output is proprietary and can only be used with the CL1. I found this a huge mistake in design. I actually contacted RHA about this to clarify and yes, the balanced output is only meant for the CL1. Customer support is responsive however. I believe this is a good company.
  • Returned. Was not satisfied.
  • This product doesn\'t know how to properly transfer sound over to Android through OTG USB-CWorked well on my Mac, but that defeats the point of this product. Kind of false advertising on RHA\'s part. Phenomenal quality, just aimed at iPhone users.
  • Overall sound is warm and quite flexible to match up with different IEM or headphones. Amp power is reasonable enough. But I would say the special mini XLR is no use to most people unless you buy also their CL1 Ceramic earphones, what a waste.
  • Great DAC/AMP. Works great and I like the design of it. Doesn\'t have as much output as some others but it has a lot of features including being able to use it to charge devices.
