- Out of the box, I was able to to pair them easily with my iphone 11 pro, my work laptop (windows 10 pro), and personal laptop (Macbook Air M1). I downloaded the ShurePlus Play app and updated the firmware. The app made a lot of settings much easier to use rather than relying on the buttons of the earbuds.Sound Quality/Noise cancellationOn my iphone and Macbook, the sound quality is incredible. I listen to a lot of ambient music while working and hiphop/EDM while working out. The sound was clear and the noise cancellation worked well. On my work laptop (windows 10 pro), on the other hand, which I intended to use for zoom calls, do not work for some reason. The connection has no issues, but the zoom call participants say it sounds like I am 10 feet away from the speaker and my voice is barely audible. This is not the case with my other brand wireless headset. Listening to music on the windows laptop sounded like the connection was going in and out constantly.For phone calls, they were hit or miss. The earbuds pair immediately to my iphone once taken out of the case. If I paired the earbuds prior to the phone call, I tend to not have any issues. If I received an unexpected phone call and attempted to connect the earbuds after I\'ve already answered the call, the other person had trouble hearing me. They said I sounded muffled as if I placed them on a speaker phone very far away.I was excited about the environmental mode initially as I wanted to use these while running outdoors. However, when activated, the environmental mode sounded like static. There is a slider on the app to adjust the level of environmental sound, and this static sound can be minimized if you have it on the lowest level. The earbuds do stick out quite a bit from your ears and I have accidentally knocked them out while moving about, but I\'ve since been mindful and have gotten used to this.ComfortThe fit of these feel like ear plugs - the material of the foam feel almost identical to the orange ear plugs you buy at the drugstore. I may be in between sizes as the medium sleeves don\'t feel entirely snug, but the large set were too big. The noise cancellation feels like it\'s working from the earbud foams rather than from the technology of the headphones. They aren\'t very comfortable over long periods of time and I tend to start getting a headache after 30 minutes.I really like the compact case that it comes in, and its ability to provide 2 additional charges. There is no battery announcement when it\'s turned on, but I\'m able to see the battery remaining on the app. Overall, I like them. I am unsure whether the little glitches only apply to me and whether they will be ironed out with an update. Until then, I\'ll stick to using them solely for listening to music from my Apple products.
- I have been using my Shure Aonic Free True Wireless and have used them for a few weeks now.I am enjoying using mine for watching movies/listening to music while I clean to house, walk and or do outside activates. The noise cancelling I will say is pretty decent and seems to block out noise so you can enjoy the sound that comes out of the Shure Aonic’s. I don’t really like the foam ear pieces all that much. I would love them more if they were plastics so they can be cleaned easier. I will say the ear pieces are not fun to put on if they needed to be changed. (Only dislike). I had to change mine out for the smaller foam pieces and honestly I ruined the ones it came with and had a hard time putting on the new ones.The sound for movies is super clear and has a great quality. You can pause and unpause movies with the top small button on each earbud for convenience. I really enjoy these earbuds when watching movies a lot.The sound for music if played half way is really impressive, clear and the base is pretty good in my option. You can again pause, with the top buttons on each earpiece. The noise cancelling on these Shure Aonic Free earbuds is good stuff.Size of earbuds-they are a little bit bigger then I expected but I will say for the quality and sound you will have to expect a bit bigger earbud. I had a hard time at first putting them in but once I figured out that the rounded knob slides into your ear to add security placement they were easy to put in after that.Product came with a ubs charger, case with earbuds and two size foam ear pieces.I have enjoyed these earbuds for all my needs and recommend them for anyone who wants a good quality product that provides great sound for the price.
