Overall good sound, but bass response not what I had expected. NYT Wirecutter comments about this product were a bit misleading.
It worked fine when I was in a small room, but then when I took them out to the volleyball court, they both couldn\'t connect, and the one that did connect was so quiet, it just made it not worth it... returned it the next day.
I originally purchased these for myself and fell in love with them...unfortunately my Son did as well. He came over one day and ended up convincing me that he needed them more than I did!!! Great sound, construction, versatility, and charge time.
DO NOT BUY!! if your looking for a solid speaker with a good battery life, THIS IS NOT IT. There are so many better alternatives to this product for the money that you are paying. I have owned this speaker for about a year now and have constantly struggled with battery life. It lasts maybe an hour and dies if you play the speaker while it is charging. It\'s cool to have a waterproof speaker that is portable, but all of that is useless without a decent battery life. Your better off buying a different product.
