  • still in use even now.
  • This solved some major problems I was having with shooting video in 5K. Works great.
  • This isn\'t a knock on the card, merely its performance in specific applications;Mine being a Pi operating Influxdb & Grafana, to a self displaying dashboard. In short, the performance was abysmal! Red-colored timeouts on the page while fetching data, often (~20% of the time). Always showed the spinning refresh (when it did successfully fetch data), where the previous Sandisk Edge did not. Upon further testing, the \'random-read\' performance was around half of what the \'Edge\' performed.Random read performance is essential in this application, as displaying graphs require small pieces of data to be read in non-contiguous fashion. Where this card would perform well in a video streaming/recording way (sequential read was with the \'Pro\'s\'), it\'s unsuitable for things such as this.I purchased this card to improve the performance of these graphs, and got the opposite.Changed it for a Samsung PRO Endurance, and got the performance increase I was searching for. Also purchased a Sandisk Extreme Pro at the same time, and while it has tested (very) slightly higher than the Samsung, I haven\'t installed it yet.Note: comparative tests made with CrystalDiskMark6 (32bit), 50Mb test size.
  • I got the 256GB version. It\'s fast.I did a quick benchmark in a coworker\'s Galaxy S8 and got 260 MB/s read and 153 MB/s write using the application \"A1 SD Bench\". It works in my old Galaxy S5, but is severely bottlenecked by the internal micro SD controller.I used ATTO Bench to test it with a USB 3.0 UHS-II compatible reader (Kingston FCR-HS4) on my desktop and it maxes at 206 MB/s read using the SD adapter and 88 MB/s using the native micro SD slot. I think the reader and/or my USB connection may the limiting factor there.I will have to do some more testing.
  • I purchased two ADATA 256GB cards to be able to shoot video at the highest settings on a Panasonic Lumix GH5. Both storage cards fill on just one battery so if there had been larger capacity cards available, that would have been more practical. The only reason for removing a star from this product is the price, which is way too high. I have experienced no unexpected problems with these cards and I keep them inside the adapters both when shooting in the camera and when plugged into my MacPro 5,1 USB-C card reader. The GH5 will frequently tell me to wait for the cards though so I miss some video and still shots I would have otherwise caught.
  • I had read some flakey reviews but I think they were based on older equipment or dirty contacts. Mine has been in and out of readers, a camera, a phone and a USB adapter and the data FLIES with up-to-date equipment. Be sure to use devices worthy of the tech.
  • This MicroSD is well worth every penny! Perfect for 4K video!
  • It doesn\'t come with a Micro SD to SD adapter. I purchased this to use in a GH5 but without an adapter, it\'s useless. This is the first Micro SD card that I have purchased to NOT come with an adapter. You need a UHS-II adapter, with the dual set of pins, to achieve full performance.I am returning the product so I cannot attest to its performance and reliability.
