  • they work well for sound isolation, but the construction quality is bare minimum and feels like it should cost about $30 at the most.usefulness: - sound isolation: pretty good, dogs can be barking in the house and it sounds like a very muffled distant bark - speaker quality: \"ok\". limited sound range and quality compared to better headphones. - comfort: \"ok\". but for any brand that cups your ears, ears get hot/sweaty with prolonged use (perhaps cloth between the ears/headphone could prolong endurance? I haven\'t tried it yet) - very cleanable: all the surfaces are plastic or rubber except the speaker cloth, so if you\'re in an industrial work environment, that\'s a plus - each ear cup has a wire coming off of it, which is kind of in the way and annoying\"cheapness\" aspects: - there is no \"left/right\" wording. the inside of one ear is red and the other is black. the red is the right. - there is no wording or branding on it at all - simple clunky injection moldedoverall I\'d say:if you\'re going to spend more than 30-40 on headphones, go with something better.
  • For those times when recording a full stack.. or even a dime\'d 212 cab.. and the room isn\'t big enough for the pressure you\'re generating.. you end up opening doors but the pressure is still too great to be in the room with the cab.. but you have to be in the room, with the cab 0_oORwhen the room is crowded, and i want to be able to hear what\'s going on in the context of the mix =D
  • For the price I expect to get heavier gauge phone wire and better quality materials in general. They do reduce external sounds nicely but so do many cheaper headphones that I have. I feel the purchase of the EX29 was a waste of money.
  • Jimmy Rainsford recommended these headphones to me, he is a fellow drummer, so i bought them, at a good price, $114. I picked super saving shipping method and they actually showed up 4 days early! Things I like about the headphones are, comfortable, look great, ability to plug into an amp or ipod nano ect, there is a red and black lining in the inside of the headphones to point out which is left and right side, When playing drums with them i could easily hear good quality music and my drums at the same time. \"the drums werent loud i mean they were just right, i could hear both in good sync \"5/5\" i hope that makes sense, also they werent squeezing the heck out of my brain after a couple hours so comfort is 5/5. things i dont like, its made of plastic and it worries me i could break them but im sure they will be fine as i take care of my stuff. of course being made of plastic also means they are light so thats a positive.While being made of plastic keeps the weight down and cost down, i prefer a more durable looking/ working element to hold them together. plastic is just \"eh\" in my eyes. but i still rated 5/5 overall. but i do recommend these headphones if you are a musician looking for a good cheap pair of headphones! :Dquality: 4/5comfort: 5/5Sound Quality: 5/5No batteries is a great thingAble to plug into a computer, ipod, amp, is also a great ability with these headphones.
  • I had originally given these headphone a 5star but after a few months of use the right ear pad fell off. It is not a huge problem because the glue is very sticky and stuck right back on. It does slip after a few long listening sessions though and i have to reapply it to the correct position. The quality of the sound is great and is MUCH better than any in-ear-headphones I\'ve use. I would recommend them though! I use them primarily at my desk with my computer and only occasionally while I\'m laying down.
  • Seals really well against the head. I thought it was great when I first got it, then I took off my glasses which were defeating the sound isolaton a bit and realized it was doing even so much better! I highly recommend them.The only improvement I could see is the 1/4 inch adapter screws together which I love. I wish the cable disconnect near the headphones also screwed together to prevent them from disconnecting if pulled on. I guess that could also be a plus in some situations however.
  • The low end is muddy as hell. The only thing that these headphones are good for is the isolation. Otherwise complete crap. Trust me if you have even the slightest bit of a trained ear you will not be impressed.
  • I had to replace it 3 times because it had sort of a burnt mark on all three replacements, not sure if that is a manufacturer issue or the shippers. Its made of plastic entirely but if you\'re looking for complete isolation with true sound, these are a great pair to give you the sound you need when background levels are too high.
