Jabra Elite 85t True Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds, Titanium Black – Advanced Noise-Cancelling Earbuds with Charging Case (Renewed)
- I needed to get this in a hurry for travel hoping to use it on long haul flights. This is a refurbished model so not sure what\'s wrong originally. The left earbud does sound softer than the right and therefore stereo does not sound centered. This could be the issue. It\'s tolerable but the sound quality is a bit inferior due to that.I also want to use it for jogging. Didn\'t have a lot of chances yet. They seem to want to fit it the ear a certain way and falls off if not inserted right. On battery, I\'ve used it for maybe an hour and a half. Have not checked what the maximum life can be.The noise cancelling features are the best. Alas! in the economy section, bluetooth is unavailable so I was not able to use them on flights.
- All round, great product. Only issue I have is with keeping the pods in my ears. They randomly will pop out at the most inopportune times. Was supposed to get different fittings so that maybe I could do something about how they fit in my ears but did not receive them.
- ANC is great, mic quality on calls is pretty good. When transitioning from music to calls or from 1 device to another it frequently doesn\'t work right away. Sometimes the microphone isn\'t available when a call is answered which is usually fixed by turning them off and back on again.
- I had a pair of 75t\'s that flaked out after a few years of use. After trying a host of cheaper alternatives, I came back to these.Overall, the sound quality, fit, ANC & controller logic - match, or are better than other options out there. The main draw cards for me are real buttons rather than touch control. Just pressing once to turn on or off my buds to save battery is great to have back. I don\'t know why other manufacturers require you to use a case to turn your buds on or off, or have fiddly long-press touch control to turn off, which interferes with other control functions. Getting proper Multipoint back is also a relief.Thankfully I don\'t have problems with the oval gels and my fav new feature is incorporation of the ingress mesh in the gels rather than on the earpiece. This means to clean ear gunk, I\'m not fishing round with alcohol and swab in the earpiece enclosure itself - YAY! All buds should adopt this strategy.Minor improvement suggestions:1. Software should integrate better w/ mobile OS to show independent bud charge in the BT UI. My Lenovo buds do this w/ Android and it\'s great. I don\'t have to download the app or open the app for individual charge readout.2. Show individual bud charge level in the case itself. My tozos do this. It\'s great if my buds have been lying around for a while to check charge in the case and then just close the lid to charge, rather than pair with phone, go into the phone app to see charge level, then put them in the case anyway.Seller-specific feedback -I got these buds reconditioned and they came with the wrong gels (see image - regular round gels). This wasn\'t called out in the description, and original gels cost me ~$20 with shipping from OEM. I didn\'t send the buds back for a refund, but I shouldn\'t have to pay for original gels. The custom gels are an important feature, not including them should be called out, as users may opt to just buy new if the price diffs is negligible.
- Love my Jabra Elite Active 75t set. I\'ve been using various wireless sets for remote work 4-6 hours a day, 5 days a week for about 5 years now. Been thru several sets of Galaxy, Jabra, Bose, Apple and Sony brands. For me, the Elite 85t set: sounds great, ANC is fantastic but the oblong/oval shape of the ear insert is just baffling. It feels strange and is definitely not as firmly sealed as any of the other sets with standard fits. I still use them for work, but not for exercise, so if that\'s your jam, it\'s a great set. If you\'d like to take it out for a jog, just be careful one doesn\'t pop out! They sound great though.
- I feel like the protrude from the ear a bit more than I would like, but the sound quality is great.I lost my left one in the snow, finally found it 6 days later and it had still held a charge and sounded great. It seems if I am listening to music that they run down faster than I expect, but a quick recharge and I am back at it.Overall I am very happy with these and would highly recommend. They have stayed in my ears during walks in rugged terrain. Only reason I lost the one was I had put it in my pocket when talking to someone for a while.
- Bought these to replace my ailing 65t and immediately noticed a profound difference in the sound quality, tighter, deeper, more defined bass, more clarity in the highs. Hear through and noise cancelling are well integrated. My only caveat with the 85t is the fit, even with the largest of the supplied tips the fit is not very snug and have fallen out on more than one occasion.
- Earbuds were great, better than expected. Had to return though due to the oval shaped tips not fitting in my ears.
