- UPDATE: The left bud died on day 31, which means I had to go through the manufacturer for warranty repair or replacement. The American customer service rep at JVC was super helpful, but it turns out this is the European model and European customer service is basically non existent. Amazon was ultimately able to give me a refund.I was new to wireless earbuds and settled on these because it\'s possible to use just the left bud. Other brands were controlled by the right bud. I\'m left eared, I guess. Anyway, if that matters to you, it\'s something to consider.Overall these are great so far. Well built, easy to keep in my ear, high quality audio output, outstanding battery life, and call quality is excellent.These buds are not noise canceling, but they\'re certainly noise reducing if you use the black rubber ear pieces. They also come with white ones that provide almost no noise reduction.Audio quality is very good. They are a little tinny compared to the Bose Sport buds, but these are still very good.As for battery life, I don\'t even know how long they last because they\'ve never died on me. They\'re in and out of the box all day, and I basically just charge the box every few days and it\'s all good.I\'m giving 4 stars overall because the little box feels a little flimsy, and the Bose sounded a little better. I would definitely buy these again.
- Biggest issue with this product is the absolute zero information to operate the system. Little advice comes with the product, and online since the product is so new there’s no reviews yet on operations. Charging and changing out the ports for comfort is easy enough, but be prepared to start doing taps on the headsets (left and right change/differ what functions are being set). Still have relatively no clue how to skip a song even.
- These did not work well with an IPhone 12, there was so much static, plus they were uncomfortable. Sent them back.
- Great headset. Jvc\'s best headset yet. Just tap to play/pause or volume up/down. They even have ambient sound to listen to surroundings while using them. Sound quality is great. No complaints there. Same with noise cancelation. Barely hear anything with both earbuds on. Battery life is better than I expected. One single headphone lasts me the entire day and I can swap between each bud since both connect to my phone. Definitely would buy these again.
- I have tried several earbuds, including the Plantronics Backbeat 3100 and the aftershokz Titanium, but the JVC HA-AE5TB with the special kind of open eartips are the best. These buds really allow you to be aware of your surroundings, which it is very important while riding bicycle but enjoying a way better sound. I highly recommend this product.
- Love these. Pair quickly as ypunswitxh between devices. I wear them for long periods of time and they remain comfortable! Love these earbuds.
