RadioShack Cardioid Dynamic Microphone

• Not the best quality. Can\'t take a lot of wear and tear, as the wiring on mine already fell apart after about 1.5 months of use. Could be good for ham radio or something, but would not use for live music gigs.
• This is a professional quality microphone with excellent frequency response. Also great for use with SSB Amateur Radio transmitters.
• I bought one of these direct from a local Radio Shack store. Still working fine.It is very much a super cardioid microphone, only picking up close sounds and having very good side noise rejection. It has a foam wind screen inside the metal screen and so far on mildly windy days, hasn\'t had any wind related noise. 300 ohm impedance.
• I have been performing live for over 20 years. I have owned and used all the Top name brands. I bought this mic from a RS store to try a Supercardioid mic without breaking the bank. It is the best vocal mic I ever had in my collection. Very very good feedback rejection. It does not pick up unwanted sounds from the sides. You have to sing right up on it. I really like the sound I get from this thing. Awesome response and durable. Besides the screen rusting from years of use I have had ZERO problems with its durability. The tiny set screw fell out of the one I\'m using now and even with the mic cord plugged in it works flawless. I\'ve owned two of these so far in 10 years. Both still work great!!!
