I recently started using these headphones. I was a little hesitant at first but for a price tag like this im pretty satisfied with the quality of these headphones. Sound quality, comfort and style wise pretty good. Let me give some details.Sound: Levels and clearness of the sound are pretty good. These shine at mid ranges, and lacks some crisp at high frequency (treble) sounds. After reading reviews i was expecting a little more bass heavy product, but its kind of wrong. It does the job well and gives clean bass on high sound levels but it surely isn\'t a bass heavy-disturbing product. I was happy while listening both jazz and bass heavy - lounge music. I was able to compare these with bose qc15s and this one lacks some crisp on high frequency and clear mind blowing bass on low frequency. While im saying that, consider im comparing 50$ and 300$ products. This one surely comes close to bose qc levels, but falls a little bit behind.Comfort: these are not your daily jogging headphones. Cushions are extremely soft and comfy but these are on ear headphones, not over ear. And they are kind of medium weight headphones and a little large in size. And they kinda squeeze after long periods like two hours. Other than that cushions and nice-fitting design makes them comfy enough.Style: when it comes to the style, sms really shines out. They look very stylish and high quality from outer looks. Especially city grey one looks pretty neat with pretty much every clothing style/colors. People love them when they see it and they want to try them out immediately. They sure look better than pictures on the amazon.Quality: the material quality feel is pretty good. Matte/satin finish on color makes them look and feel solid, while headband seems a bit weak( maybe after effects of previous comments ) my headphones were faulty from production i believe and amazon was nice enough to replace my product. There was a loose screw like noise coming from one of the earcups, but the package was totally undamaged. So i assume it was faulty from production stage. But this is not the reason im giving 4 stars for this product.Conclusion: im pretty satisfied with the sound, quality and style of these headphones. I would definately recommend for people looking for discounted headsets, because there is no way you can get better headphones for 46$. They beat almost every headset in 100-150$ range and comes close to top-end headphones. 4 star is mainly because of the setback in high and low freq properties i mentioned before. They deserve 5 stars when 100$ below products are considered, when top end products considered they are solid 4. Keep in mind that these were published for 300$ and discounted prices were above 150$ all the time.
These headphones are amazing! Like everyone else, when your choosing to buy high-end headphones, you want to buy the best thing out their. Something that looks good, sounds amazing, and is durable. At the 300$ price range there are one or two headphones which sound a bit better. BUT those headphones look awful, and are easy to break. This is why people either choose Beats or SMS because they look dope, especially for someone like me who plays on a Basketball team and listens to a lot of HipHop. I especially needed great bass, and oh man do these deliver on that. The difference between these and the Beats is that these are actually high quality sound as compared to the beats where the have awful highs and mids. You may think that Beats because of their bass are perfect for Hip Hop. WRONG. They make classic albums sound bad because of the bass drowning out the lyrics and different elements of the production. Listening to classic hip hop albums like College Dropout and even Graduation was poor on the Beats. These SMS Headphones sound perfect on ALL types of music.Lastly! DURABILITY. You are spending so much money on headphones yet Beats and other brands like Shure, Sennheiser, etc are prone to breaking. These headphones can actually last you 5+ years where as the other ones start breaking within a year. They have shatterproof construction and can be bent in ways that are unexplainable.THESE headphones are the best in the market, GREAT sound, GREAT style, GREAT comfort, GREAT durability. I recommend these.
For the proce I paid for the headphones I have to say they were well worth it. I got them at a sale price so it was even better. SMS products are much better than the beats headphones everyone seems to flock to. To start the build quality is great. The DJ pros are extremely durable and will not break under heavy use. The sound is very good for the price i paid which was 205.00 as opposed to 299. I love the headphones but i see them as a 250 dollar headphone as opposed to 300. Moving onto the sound the bass thankfully isn\'t overbearing. Every genre of music sounds great through the DJ pros. They prosper in the hip hop genre but like i said every genre sounds great through them. As far as comfort goes they are a snug fit but are very comfortable at the same time. The coiled chord that was included is nice, and is also very durable. The only complaint i really have is the case. It is a nice hards hell case, but you cant really fit any of the wires in it. If SMS were to include the hardshell case issues with the sync model, the DJ pros would be the perfect package. Overall i am very pleased with the product. After my experience with the DJ pro headphones i look forward to seeing the next products 50 cent releases with SMS.
Oh my, these headphones are super comfortable! I got them same day I ordered (kudos to Amazon for delivering a product on a Sunday) and I tested them out on my computer and DJ controller. They are really comfortable and a lot of bass (almost rivaling Beats bass). At $79 for black they are a steal (even if promoted by 50 Cent). The only drawback is the plastic feel around the headphones, especially metal inserts on the hinges in the plastic (I\'m sure they did that for weight purposes). Regardless, they are super comfortable, can wear for hours, and the sounds is nice in my book. If you looking for headphones that good quality bass and don\'t want to spend more than $100, these are the best alternative to Beats.
