- This is a nice stylus, but forget about a switchable cartridge to use with the iPad Pro. In essence, this is just an overpriced, not as advertised, nice stylus that is just an enigma.
- The weight; the auto on, the precision stylus on my iPhone are amazing! If this weren’t $250 I’d be keeping it but I can’t afford it. When my income increases I’ll be getting one. I have carpal tunnel and arthritis and the weight of this and the accuracy are perfect for my hands I feel terrible that I have to return it. I will say if Adonit wants to charge $250 for this they need to increase the quality of the product. No doubt it is nice but for $250 in the Penn world I can go to Mount Blanc from Costco for less than this ant 10X the quality. The finish does feel like it’s going to scrape off at any time. I wish to give discounts to disabled customers
- I took one star for the price, it felt about 3 stars for the experience. It should be about $100 - $150 at the most perhaps with the iPad cartridge included. It felt nice to hold, but I don’t know too much about premium pens to comment on it. Also, writing with the cap on felt a bit unbalanced, but if I took it off, I worried about misplacing it.Now, for the functionality, it’s very similar to the Dash stylus, in fact I didn’t find much difference with the writing feel. This could be due to the Apple software and the fact that iPhone doesn’t have the stylus functionality. I tried it with Apple notes (my writing looked like scribbles), Notability (much better writing experience but only ok), and Procreate Pocket, and I hated the drawing experience. I could not justify the price and keep it like I did with the Dash stylus particularly since the iPad cartridge is not included.
- I should review this in 2 segments (iPhone 12 is my device used on)1: CosmeticI have been a pen collector for 20yrs. and this pen doesn’t measure up....it’s not any better than those $20 pens you’d buy at Office Depot.....(in fact it looks like them) not that they are a problem. They’re not trying to be something they’re not. The screwing mechanism, not precise, Material used doesn’t feel premium, pen is physically smaller than i normally expect for luxury pens, the design itself, boring to me. Packaging, usually for this money you get nice, packaging.....not here.....dime store packaging.2: StylusFor the iPhone, epic failure. constantly tapping to open & close things. one time you might tap the center of the icon, next time you may have to tap one of the corners.....nothing like an apple pencil(as far as precision)and when considering the device is literally twice the price $270 with tax.....huge problem. At times it simply gives up and doesn’t work. I wouldn’t even begin the attempt at drawing anything. Maybe this is specifically designed for signature, but even that proves not anywhere near as good as you very own finger.i really wanted this to be more, tired of the basic plastic stylus but......yeah this isn’t it.
