- Just got this, so I can’t speak to durability, but my first impression is that this is a very stiff cable. It doesn’t matter that much to me since this will be used exclusively in my home office, but if you’re looking for something easily stuffed into a bag, this isn’t it. Power delivery is on point.
- Unlike some of the other complaints, I received the correct cable as advertised. It also is in fact a gen 3.2 cable, or it says so on the packaging. It hardly makes much of a difference. It\'s stiff and feels durable. Using it for 45W charging on the S23 Ultra, it works flawlessly.
- The actual product does not match the picture. The connectors look different and the cable has printing \"USB3.1\" while it is advertised as 3.2 Gen 2 cable.Requested a replacement and received exactly the same cable, so this is not a single occurrence, Monoprice sells misadvertised or wrong cable.
- I have never had an issue with monoprice cables not living up to specs. I used this for a 10 Gbps external nvme drive from a thunderbolt 3 connection and it maxed out the USBC specs. Monoprice warranties their passive cables (like this one) for a lifetime. Out of 100 cable buys, I have used the warranty a couple of times and gotten no static.
- The connector bodies are a centimeter longer than shown (28 mm actual vs. ~18 mm shown).The connector bodies are also missing the \"IIIP\" markings.
