The media could not be loaded. All of the bells and whistles work EXCEPT for the most important thing, the d** BT!!! I’m trying to be patient but I need this to move along…..
I\'m happy with this \"renew\" for under $100 to replace a blown JBL Charge 3. I had my eye on this specific model for nearly a year, hoping it would come available at a lower price. It is just as I expected, with a nice, deep bass sound. It\'s a couple steps under a Harmon Kardan or a Bose, which cost a lot more, but about equal to a JBL of equal size (maybe a Charge 4). I was right in thinking it wouldn\'t be worth much more than $129 retail at Best Buy ($199) - while the rich bass is nice, it sacrifices a lot of the mid-range frequencies (guitars) that make \'70s-\'80s classic rock so enjoyable to me. I guess the lights are nice (my kids think they\'re cool), but I could do without them.
As an unabashed Top Gear fan, I purchased this refurbished item strictly as a poor man\'s way of augmenting my viewing experience due to the pure sheet nature of my laptop speakers. (i.e. I only like the Clarkson, Hammond, May varietal.)Blimey! This item brings the full fidelity of Clarkson\'s ash-hattedness right to the very bowels of my soul (one and the same). I feel fully prepared to accept a flying meringue pie from a gazelle directly to my very own visage. And there are even sound-tempo\'ed/synced LED lightbars! Bring on driving upon the wrong side of the rode or my enjoyment of an ensuing stroke right this very second.

I like the Sony XB product line, and I like budget tech, and I\'m an audiophile, so this was great for me as a renewed product. I have a XB-01, XB-21, and an XB-41. When I first got it, I was reminiscing in the days when stereos had real speakers rather than the small digital Bluetooth speakers i hear everywhere now. The bass is really deep on this thing. I cant have it on extra bass at home without disturbing everyone here, and even on standard sound mode it sounds almost too bassy. I love this thing.
Excellent bluetooth radio. I listened to this Sony speaker at Best Buy which was selling for 149.99. Inwas impressed with the sound but before purchasing I checked amazon and found this refurbished one for close to 90. Looks and sounds brand new.The speaker is used for a home gym I built so I created a shelf up high near an outlet where I leave it plugged in so I cant rate the battery life as I don\'t use it as a portable. The lights are a good touch but the sound is really impressive and fills the room. Solid bass too. No regrets on this Sony speaker.
Use the white cord that came with the speaker to charge while at work a few hrs later the speaker was charged and listen to Gun\'s & Rose sweet child of mind and NWA straight out of Compton and everything sound prefect.
I should of used this more right away. But the battery doesn’t fully charge and when it gets to 50% battery it lowers the volume and says please charge. This is a crap product and the seller doesn’t really care about if their product works and the customers are basically screwed if something goes wrong and the 90 days is up. So you’re better off actually going to the store or buying from the Sony website. I know the price sounds good. But now I’m stuck with this piece of dog crap that I have no use for now.
