Yamaha EPH-M200WH High-Performance Earphones with Remote and Mic, White
- My friends told me this is a best professional headphone around the price. After I ordered last week and can certify this is a very good professional earphone I am sure. Compare with my Shure SE 2 that something similar or may be higher by Japanese audio technologies. I am going to try comparing with Klipsch X11i that is said the best from Klipsch. If some one can give comment, please share idea.
- My favorite in-ear headphones are the Yamaha EPH-100. I love them so much that I bought 2 extra pairs just in case. The only thing they miss is the remote/mic.So when I saw that the EPH-M200BL had some, I indulged into one pair, just to see if I would be as much vowed. I am to some extend. Here is what I like:- Clear sound, Deep Bass.- Comfortable (more than the EPH-100)What I like less:- Cable is a little bit flimsy and I am worrying about its longevity. Mic keeps on rubbing on my clothes and makes noises when I speak with people and it is disturbing the conversation. In conclusion, I like this headset for its comfort and excellent sound and for the remote/mic advantage but I do not consider it a better choice against the EPH-100 once you add a Mic/Remote to it (sold separately).Edit 06/04/16I had to come back an bump it to 5 stars. The reason is that it has become my first choice for everyday uses. So far, so good, it is holding well. I really like the fact that I do not have to add any extra cable to get a remote/mic when compared to the EPH-100 and it now sounds fuller than the EPH-100 too, specifically for the bass. It is also much easier to put in my ears and when I do not want to isolate my ears so much, I can pull it just a little and it still stay nicely put.And adding that the price has dropped about 30% since I bought it last made me buy another one.
- Finally! Yamaha products are superb. I tried a couple of different JBL earphones, and found the quality for the price to be inferior. The bass in this incredible and unlike other headphones, I cannot hear any outside sound and these don\'t state noise cancelling. The control is simple, and the fit inside the ear works perfectly like they did serious research on how to best fit these into your ear. Only thing that I don\'t care for is the plug into the phone which is like an L plug, after some use in the gym and in my shorts pocket, the headphones cut out on one side so I can only hear sound on the right side. I am not sure why many headphone manufactures have the L plug, but I hate it. This is getting returned.
- Every person\'s taste in sound is different, as is how they will use this style of earphone. I\'ve used the Yamaha EPH-M200RE to listen to classical, folk, and rock music on an ipod, and several movies on a tablet. Considering the small size of the speaker, the sound is full and crisp. From low bass and to high treble registers, the sounds are quite clear. I had previously had an opportunity to listen to Yamaha\'s EPH-M100. Some listeners may not hear a difference between the two sets of earphones. I did, and when i considered the amount of time i would spend using them, i chose to invest the additional money for the EPH-M200.Yamaha includes several sizes of plastic earpieces, and i found a size that was quite comfortable. The earpieces do not need to be inserted fully to remain seated, at least for the size i selected. The inclusion of the 1/4 inch adapter will come in handy, and i appreciated the volume control located on the local cable.Although i don\'t find the wires to be particularly tangle resistant, as described by the manufacturer, they are certainly no worse than any other earphone wires i\'ve owned over the years.
- Pros: The bass is good, not overwhelming. Its almost noise-cancelling and stays at ear during workouts.Cons: Not the best clarity of what I expected to be a Yamaha. The cable does not appear to be lasting for too long. And the volume buttons dont work on iphone 6 Plus.
- Just got these today and I\'ve got to say they\'re really nice! They arrived 3 hours ago and I\'ve been wearing them non stop since. No listening fatigue yet and they are really comfortable! They have really great all around sound and nice punchy bass! I prefer these over the Shure SE535 to be honest.
- Very nice headphones. Only lacking highs to be an outstanding pair. Company and reviews advise you in advance of this short coming.
- I was searching for good headphones for the past 4 months and my range is below $300. I finally settled down with Bose SoundTrue In-Ear (no, bose isn\'t overrated). I was very happy with the headphones but wasn\'t happy about the mic and also it didn\'t block any external noise (zero noise isolation). So, I returned that :(I already have one low end yamaha headphones which I am happy with so I thought high-end yamaha headphones is gonna blow my mind. But, I was completely wrong. I am not a music expect to say mid not good like that, but the music is pathetic. Too much of base. Voice is not clear and crisp like in Bose. This is one of the worst headphones I ever used. I am not sure how ppl are happy with these headphones. It\'s not super comfortable like most people claim. It is as comfortable as any other in-ear headphones above $50. It\'s also too bulky. If you are in bed, you can\'t turn side (forget abt sleeping sideways) wearing these headphones. In Android, even the music skip is not working properly. If you press twice, music is skipping and pausing. You need to press one more time to play again. There is a review in digitaltrends about these headphones. That is the correct review for these headphones (not the pcmag one).
